So, the Military Ball for my ROTC Class is coming up and I'm trying to go for Queen or Princess so I can Dance the first dance with my boyfriend. I have super short hair with Layers and I'm always doing the same tight short curls for a special occasion and I want to do something different that I can do with Shoulder length hair with super short layers. Please suggest something I could do. Thanks.

Why does my ROTC class not have a military ball ;(
I would definitely look for inspiration on YouTube, that way you can visually see it

You guys don't have one.? :o that sucks. =/ well, I live right next to the Coast Guard so they sponsor it, maybe that's why. And I have been all morning, and I tried some but my layers keep falling out of them all. :(

Awee, well thanks.(: and I'll try that.! Maybe I'll go get ones that are curved so you don't notice them as much. (:

That's a good idea (: make sure to get closest to your hair color as possible. You can camouflage them a bit

I like the Lucy Hale picture. I think pinning your hair to the side is a good way to make hair look instantly chic
Love the Dita Von Teese picture too, but you need pretty long hair to achieve that style =(

Not at all, Natalie! I have shoulder length hair and I do a cute little pin up look very similar to Dita's with hot rollers. :)

Yeah I can do a roller set and keep my length, but the way she has there it eliminates a lot of the length (I've done it that way too).

Yeah I have no experience with long hair and rollers. :( my shoulder length hair always end up in the classic lil '50s do when I put a set in.
