I'm nearly completely new to using make up regularly- the most I generally wear is eye liner, maybe, a few times a month. I don't really know how to do make up very well yet. That's why I need to learn! It would be amazing if you guys could help me out: tips, tricks, and, well, the basics of make up for a pale, blond girl with blue-grey eyes.

Start with the basics first such as mascara clear pink lip gloss, concealer for dark circles under the eyes and maybe abit of bronzer or peachy blush would look nice and natural:)

Okay so what exactly does bronzer do? I recognized all the others, but I don't know that one.

1.) Moisturize your skin before putting on anything, this keeps everything in place all day :)
2.) Primer helps but isn't necessary, this also helps your make up stay longer. I have some but only use it for special occasions.
3.) First, what type of skin do you have?
For dry, normal, or combination, use liquid or cream foundation. For oily skin, use a powder, or else you will break out. or a wax foundation. (as weird as it sounds, wax foundation is good for your skin, because your skin doesn't absorb anything, unlike other foundations) Avoid foundation with SPF in it, because it reflects on camera making you look shiny. The right shade foundation should basically disapear on your skin, but I always go one shade darker to warm up my skin tone and cover unevenness and flaws. (Make sure you get your neck too, it will look goofy if your face is tanner then your neck.)
4.) you need two different concealers:
*One concealer two shades lighter then your skin tone
*One concealer same shade as your foundation.
Take the lighter concealer and mix with foundation to match better, then gently apply under your eyes. The lighter shade will make you look more awake and alert.
Then take the skin colored one and dab on any breakouts.
5.)Take a power brush and apply translucent powder over your face. This keeps your foundation and concealer in place while also giving you a flawless skin look. If I need my make up to stay on a long time, I apply translucent powder after each step.
6.)Take a taupe colored bronzer and brush it along the hollow of your cheeks ( these can be discovered by sucking in your cheeks to make a fishy face) and also apply on sides of nose and on your temple. 7.)Take highlighter and apply on corners of eyes, on brow bone, and on your cheek bones.
8.)Take a blush ( I like using peachy colors) and apply on apples of your cheeks (these can be discovered by smiling at yourself in the mirror) It really doesn't matter if you use stains or powder blush, but stains get absorbed by your skin and don't stay on as long so you have to reapply it multiple times. This can also cause break outs if you have oily skin. powder stays on all day if you set it with translucent powder afterwards. :)
9.) apply eyeliner on lash line. Warm brown eyeliner will make your eyes pop since you have blue Grey eyes and its on opposites of the color wheel :)
10.) White eyeliner on waterline will make your eyes look larger
11.) Curling your lashes can make a huge difference. Heat your lash curler with a blow dryer before so they stay curled all day.
12.) Two to three coats of mascara. Too many coats will look clumpy.
13.) Add a pretty lip gloss and your done :D
Hope this helped! xx
