What I do is I make the pencil real thin and then I burn the tip, with a lighter don't keep the flame there for too long. then wait a few seconds and put it on it will look really good. <(^^,)> I go over it with a liquid after words

A liquid eyeliner is best I think for applying to the upper lid- you can get a pen of an inkwell with I little brush.
