Is it possible to do a fishtail braid with short hair like you can see in my profile pic and how do u do it ?

I'm a hairdresser and have always found it very hard to do on shorter / medium length hair x

gather your hair together like a ponytail, but split it in two. Then you bring small groups of hair from the outside of one section to the inside of the other. Repeat that, while alternating sides. Sorry if these instructions are hard to follow, I tried to simplify it as much as possible.
You can do it on shorter hair but its easier to do so with smaller groupings of hair when you're doing the actual braiding.

I do it easily on short hair....well I did it easily after it was long enough to put up - just below ny ears.


To the hairstylist.....how cab you be a hair stylist and yet not able to braid short hair?
