Make Up For Ever will be discontinuing their Duo Mat powder in favor of their new Pro-Finish Powder foundation.= (
I suspected this was going to happen, but since I haven't heard very good comparisons of the two, I didn't want to believe it.
I guess I am onto my search for a new favorite powder foundation. Is anyone else as mad as I am about this?

I never used the duo mat powder but heard good things, I am a little disappointed that I wont be able to try it before its discontinued.

It was the most perfect powder foundation for me in the summer. I have yet to try the new one, but I have a friend from Sephora, also a Duo Mat lover, who says they are not even slightly comparable. = ( It was so hard finding a good powder product that didn't look cakey or break me out, and I am bummed that I will have to eventually start looking for a new one, once the two I have run out.

Well, he just didn't like it because the finish isn't as natural and the texture of the powder wasn't as luxurious & caused pores to show through very easily. I'm going down there tommorrow to clean them out of my shade in Duo Mat, & I am going to try the other one to see how it applies.
