if u have an oily scalp but still have dandruff, that is more commonly known as sebhorrheic dermatitis. u cam always see a dermatologist or go to your salon for scalp treatments. I go see my stylist every week. And my scalp and hair are great.

It could also be a result of washing your hair TOO often. Don't call me crazy just yet. I know when your hair is oily you feel gross and you HAVE to wash it. But washing your hair too often is damaging, which causes your hair to produce more oil. Frequent washing can also be the cause of dandruff by drying your scalp, but sometimes what we think is dandruff isn't dandruff at all! Product build up on the scalp can cause flakes just the same as dandruff can.
