Hi Kirsti, i am also a very curvaceous woman. Every body shape differs especially if you've just had your baby. If you think you carry your curves off well then that's all that matters, remember your weight and the size of your clothes are only a number. If you still feel like losing a bit of weight i can recommended joining some fitness classes, alternatively you can research some beauty treatments that encourage weight loss and toning of the body such as; detoxifying massage, inch loss body wraps, electrotherapy body treatments.

The biggest thing to losing weight is you get what u put into it, my parents both have lost at least 90 pounds each. They were big and realized that they had a problem and wanted to become healthy (they were having health issues as well) and its all about eating healthy (balancing your diet with protein and carbs) and working out. Walking is good but if you really want to loose weight you have to put in the effort, I'm not tryin to be mean just encouraging! You can do it, seriously! It's gonna take a couple months but don't give up! Think of your baby an how active he/she's going to be and u can be active and play with them! It's all about health and what it really means to you:)

Get into a good cardio program; your local gym probably has a 'bootcamp' type class. Pilates classes are a nice challenge to strengthen your core and tone your body. Make sure that your diet stays balanced and that you don't eat too fast. The thing that people don't usually realize is that although eating better will keep you from adding more unhealthy weight, it won't do much of anything to help you lose weight unless you do a detox.

Your hormones are still fluctuating. Nurse more and focus on excellent nutrition over restriction.
