you guys don't think the shadow works with her EYE color? the picture i'm seeing is a purple shadow wth brown eyes. that is a VERY good combination.
i personally think you should line your waterline with a dark brown or black liner. maybe it is lined? lol i can't tell if it is.. so if it is I think you def need more!

Larissa, with a highlight on the brow bone it will be lovely! Love those colors on you.
Baby doll, I don't think that it is too much makeup from what I can see, the angle of the photo is more focused on things other than your face (if you catch my drift).

I like this, and I don't think it's poorly done at all, I've seen WAY worse on this. I think it needs to be more smokey, with more dramatic lashes and liner, REALLY play up on the drama and add some black so it would mesh better with your eye color. Also, I would add some bronzer so the drama of the eyes and lips doesn't wash your face out so much. Since you have a lot of lid space, you need to extend the main colors upwards more in your crease area so it isn't such a striking contrast from color to highlight, the main colors on your lid should always be more prominent than a highlight color. I LOVE a dramatic lip paired with a dramatic eye, but I think the color on the lips is completely wrong for the whole look you were going for, and doesn't match your skintone at all, I would just throw that color away honestly.. lol. But all in all this isn't bad at all, with more practice you'll be on point ;)

I think she's given it a good go as a beginner and all the constructive criticism will help. Keep trying until you're happy with it girl! Have fun!
And for the girl who posted more of her body parts than she did of her makeup, stop trolling.

More neutral colors would be better for an everyday look, but for a night out or something that would be perfect :)
