Demi-Permanent Hair Color...

A while ago,(maybe a month?) i decided to try a demi permanent hair color... I put in a purple over the blonde highlights i already had. And i recently noticed its begun 'tinting' the hair around that wasnt in the original section that i died. When i bought the demi permanent color the lady at the store told me it would was out quickly. Its faded a little but as i said earlier, its begun to color other parts of my hair.. I was judt wondering how to get rid of the color fast. ?? Ive heard about using dish soap as shampoo or clarifying shampoos.... But irdk.
