I've heard one person day that applying lemon juice to your face daily for 10 minutes helps get rid of the red pimples & scars on your face. I'm really interested in trying this but my face is clearing up pretty good..

mix lemon juice and egg white and apply it on your face. then let it dry and just remove with water. it's a great mask for pimples and scars. ;)

Lemon juice is both an astringent and a mild exfoliating acid. It will take off a few skin cells and dry everything up, which can help to reduce breakouts.
BUT that being said it's still ACID and you should be very careful how long and how often you use it. I would suggest using it as a natural toner rather than sitting it on your face for 10 minutes, because you're more likely to cause serious redness and irritation which will actually make your breakouts WORSE.
If you choose to do it as a mask like Diana is suggesting, do it once a week, no more.

You can also use it to exfoliate once or twice a week, mix lemon juice and sugar until you get a consistency you can put on your face and scrub. Just make sure you don't get it in your hair because it will make it hard like freeze gel, haha.

This morning I read something that said to cut a refrigerated lemon in half and put a few drops of honey on it. And rub that on your face. Leave it on for five minutes and then rinse off. I haven't tried it. Just read about it.

my sister tried this. it didn't do wonders but it helped a bit. give it a try. it can't harm but dont forget to moisturize, otherwise it will dry up your skin

I mix a little lemon and honey and leave it on for about 20 min and its helped me. If you don't mind dealing with a slight yellow stain for a day add a tsp of turmeric and it may help even more.
