Stephanie-I usually let the colors fade out as much as possible, and then use dish soap & dandruff shampoo to get it back to a pretty much blonde color. But, i was sick of my green dye looking murky in doors & neon outside, and i just wanted a change quickly. Dont talk down to me.
Devan, thankyou for your concern, once i rinse out my colors in about an hour i will do some deeeeeep conditioning for the next few nights(:

Once you bleach it so much it'll also stop keeping the color. And will only hold the previous color it was.

It should be fine. Ive messed my hair up majorly before. I was trying to go from black to brown so i bleached it. It just turned orange i was so mad haha. But then i had my sisters friend whos a hair dresser fix it right after

Here's your issue. When you color your hair a lot and then try to lighten it ; your lifting tons of color at once. Your also stripping your hair of what it needs to stay intact. If you go I a professional salon then they will know the best steps to take with you. Just know that color correction can be pricey. DO NOT try lightening twice by yourself. Give your hair at least ten days to fully recover.

iv bleached my hair 8 times in one day. just bleach then after dry it and put mayonnaise in it... wash it out dry and bleach again and it will be fine. iv done it and my hair is pretty healthy for all the dying its been through

I just came to say that I've only ever used splat to bleach out my hair. I've been dying my hair constantly since I was 14 (17 now) my hair has been so damaged but I've revived it within a month. I just bleached my hair twice in one day and my hair is obviously completely damaged. But a deep conditioning Every time I shower (really recommend coconut shampoo+conditioner) will make my hair healthy and silky looking again. But remember everyone's hair is different. Vanessa's hair seems to be similar to mine. :))
