I've only used Butter London's matte top coat, but I really like it. I've heard Essie has a good one but I never see it in stores.

Take regular top coat and add corn starch to it and it becomes matte.

I've seen some work done with Color Club Matte-ified. I like it, it's not thaat matte it's more like a satin but still noticeably different than regular polish. I think it looks really good I'm buying it soon.
