I want to buy a thing of Sugarpill eye shadow because I LOVE the colors. I'm having such a tough time choosing which color! But my questions are, should I get the loose or pressed? What is a primer I should use or an alternative to help the color pop? & what kind of brushes would I need?
I'd like the cheapest things (primer, brushes, etc.) that would actually work, I don't have much money!
I know pretty much nothing about makeup, sorry!

I would suggest the pressed to start off. The loose pigments last I purchased do not have a sifter so can easily be knocked over and thus a sad day. Purchase one of the palettes in the end you save money cause they are $34 for a quad and indiv they are $12 iirc. As for bases I hear nyx has a good primer but if you really want them to pop its best to apply a white base over your primer. Nyxs jumbo pencil in milk is commonly used but any white pencil should be ok. As for brushes I hear Sonia kashuk has quite a few nice ones. Hope that helps!

I agree with Nicolette. I have the burning heart palette and I love it. The only downside is flamepoint (orange) is softer than the rest of the shadows, and can have a bit of fallout. As far as primer goes, my experience has been that its best to spend some money on a good primer, because the cheaper ones don't work for me. For brushes, it really just depends what you're used to. I have a Sonia kashuk brush set and I personally think that the brushes are too flimsy and don't pick up the pigments well. I know you can also get Eco tools brushes at target and I like those more. Good luck!
