I haven't tried many different brands because my GHD flat iron's have lasted forever. The one at the salon is almost always on, about 5 days a week, and I've had it for a few years now. It has definitely exceeded my expectations.

I bought a Babyliss Titanium Nano Pro and I love it! I have thick course hair and it gets me to ultra smooth in seconds! Sortof expensive tho. I got mine on eBay.

Since you asked for sites multiple times, I would check Amazon, folica.com, and flatironexperts.com .

i would recommend the bio ionic tools. They far exceed any other out in the market. Their heat plates will not wear out due to their technology. I only carry those in my salon and wouldn't recommend anything less than that. You can do some research to find out where to purchase them in your area. :-)

I love my Revlon straightener, although it doesn't heat up as fast. Any suggestions what kind of brand?
