So, I was watching this YouTube video a few months back, and the girl put on BB cream that was really, really light. She is a girl that tans and looked like a olive-y Kim K type colour, yet her BB which had super high cover was almost white. She then proceeded to put a foundation on matched her and it looked really good afterwards. This was definitely not a BB cream she could wear alone and in that shade could only be used as a base for her. However, what I did like was that it literally provided a blank slate and her foundation looked super flawless afterwards. You couldn't even see the BB cream through the foundation! I thought her foundation would look messed up since it's a dramatic difference) Do you think this concept would work w/ a darker foundation?

Sure! Even on the eyes when you put a primer that evens out the colour of the lid or if you put white primer on it, the eyeshadows appear more bright and the colour is way more beautiful!

It will. Especially with Western BB creams. They function more as tinted primers with SPF function than anything else. I do layer BB cream instead of plain primer underneath when I don't plan on applying foundation to my whole face (which I don't like to do). It evens out the skin tone so I can just apply foundation where I want, and it will stay put and blend nicely.
