Oh i believe u. But i have yet to tell u that u dont know what youre talking about. But in cases with red or black those wont work. You need lift. Have a good day..

And i have evolved in this industry- u have to. But some methods still remain the same. It is what it is. Ive never doubted one word youve said. On anything. I have a respect factor. Plain and simple. This is pointless.

Of course it'll work with red or black. They're deposited, oxidative pigments. You can't use it to go from blonde back to brown because the blonde lifts the natural pigment...it would just strip out the toner you used.

But hell - two weeks ago my hair went from blonde to a very dark cherry-coke red which was nice, but considerably less natural than what I was aiming for (btw holy crap on the oil-based dye). The remover did such a good job taking out the dark, almost violet tones that I didn't even feel a need to dye over the result which was a medium reddish brown. I hesistate to call auburn, but it definitely has a low-key red cast.

Point being that my hair went up about 3 levels without lifter of any kind, on previously dyed hair.

I have dark brown dyed hair and went red using loreal hicolor hilights and I believe this worked fine without the bleaching because it contained similar chemicals...
