Has anyone used this product? I am so desperate for my hair to grow and I have heard that it helps. I've heard it doesn't. Some people say it smells others say there is no Oder. Please help.🙏

This will not grow your hair. It coats your hair in wax and weighs it down. This makes it appear longer, but isn't actually increasing growth. It's damaging and shouldn't be used.

IT DOESN't WORK. Lol. It's terrible for your hair. it will make it brittle & the wax weighs your hair down making you think it's longer. it's NOT. It's not ph balanced for human hair. your hair growth rate is genetic. it will only grow as fast as it would at it's healthiest.

'Mane n' tail shampoo/conditioner is not PH balanced for human hair or scalp, over time it begins to dry out your hair and make it brittle ( Scientifically, and speaking from personal experience with this one. )
The reason people claim Mane n' tail makes your hair grow is because of the heavy amount of wax in it. The wax present in Mane N' tail simply weighs down your hair and this wax can actually cause flakes. The wax in Mane n' tail is the reason for dullness, and dryness that it can cause. The wax builds up on your hair and overtime causes that side effect. In other words, Mane n Tail is as effective as lard.'

Its funny that you all say it doesn't work becausse it worked for me and my friends really well yeahh the shampoo makes your hair really hard but when you use the mane n tail conditioner it makes it way softer.. soo I really don't see why you guys didnt like it

I use the mane and tail shampoo and conditioner and it doesn't weigh my hair down not does it make it feel brittle or straw like... You just have to know what products to use afterwards so your hair doesn't get like that... My hair is also noticably thicker and longer... And not just because it's weighed down.

It's noticeably thicker & longer because of the wax. just because your condition your hair doesn't mean it's not still damaging it. re read kitty's comment. maybe you'll understand. as it's not even ph balanced for your hair or scalp.

Also, if you have to use a bunch of other products just to make sure it's not hard, that's an obvious sign that it isn't good for your hair. you're only delaying seeing the damage it's really causing. I'd advise you both to stop using it. because if you re read everyone else's comments you'll see that your hair growth rate is GENETIC. So obviously what you think is happening really isn't.

Instead of arguing and coming off as a know it all I'd just let them be and let then wreck their hair... (That's just me though) also everyone's hair is different, an will react differently... Mane n tail could damage someone's hair more so then others... But again.., that's just my opinion, I'm not a hair tech or a scientist or a chemist or anything smart at all I grew up on a farm and had this for our horses... When we'd run out of shampoo yep we'd use this.., and I never ever had a problem with my hair , then again it wasn't regular use. I have the conditioner now under my bathroom sink and will use it once every two weeks just cuz I feel like it... And again no problems with my hair... But what ever... You can argue if you want this is just my opinion.

It can also make you grow back hair according to one of my friends. Not sure if this is true, but since hearing that I've stayed away from it. Just saying. lol
