I have naturally very dark, very curly hair. It is actually very moisturized because I use so much conditioner and don't use shampoo to clean it. I want to try something new for a change and would like to go blonde, but I'm pretty scared because I have heard so many bleach horror stories. I was wondering if there is a way to go to platinum blonde without completely killing my hair. Here is a photo of my natural hair.

Your hair is so beautiful dark! I highly suggest going to a professional. They know how to properly use the bleach without 100% killing your hair. Whenever i was younger i thought it would be a great idea to dye my natural blonde hair to a dark brown. I did it behind my moms back and she bleached it to get my.natural color, and the bleach destroyed my hair. Just be careful if you decide to do it yourself! Lots of conditioner treatments after and no heat products.

As a hair dresser I recommend doing it by steps. Bc either way your hair is going to get damaged. Have you colored you hair before? If so you would have to do a color cleanse. If not you should get a full head of highlight and go about every two weeks until your at your desired level.
