I bought Feriahs multidimensional black hair dye and Im gonna buy its a 10 keratin deep conditioner and shampoo. I have curly hair that I straighten a lot, and it's been a year or more since my last perm, relaxer, bleach and weave... I've been free of all that and I just wanna make sure I do this right soy hair doesn't fall out again.....

With the deep conditioner and everything, you SHOULD be fine.. do you use a thermal protectant when you blowdry/flat iron?

As a cosmetologist I'm not a fan of box color, HOWEVER, I understand going to a salon isn't always affordable. I would advise you to make sure your hair is healthy, no split ends or heat damage before coloring. As far as its a 10, or any protein or keratin product, only use it until your hair feels healthy then stop. Too much of a good thing is truly a bad thing when it comes to hair because it will cause breakage.

I agree with Ainsleigh on the issue of keratin. I learned the hard way that putting protein products in healthy hair is a good way to wreck it. I've done bleach jobs that felt better afterward.

And my hair is a hella a lot healthier than a few years a go and I only color my hair 1ce every 2 months or so

And after I dye my hair should I wait a day then use the keratin deep conditioner??
