I've seen thick heavy duty foundation that makes you look flawless. This make up artist was applying it on a girl that was going to appear on TV. Never got to ask though. Help?

Tv makeup and everyday makeup is two different things. Prep+prime first. Use mac pro-longwear to cover up spots and then go in with your liquid...if you have normal skin i suggest studio fix...its full covarge then finish over with your powder. That alone should be enough. Also MaryK has a liquid foundation that is very heavy. medium cov. was a lot for me and i also have scars with mk i didnt use concealer to cover up spots. It covered so well i would simply prep and prime then add my liquid and finish off with studio fix powder...good luck

Estee Lauder Double Wear has great coverage and stays on all day. I'm a long haul flight attendant, and it easily stays on for 16 hours on the aircraft!

also try face and body by mac...be aware even though all of these beautiful people are giving great suggestions keep in mind that we do not know your skin type. if you have oily skin some/most of these products may not be a good match for you. It really all depends on your skin type hence the reason i said if you have normal skin use the studio fix fluid or the face and body

Skin79 bb cream feels good on and covers well. I use minimal concealer with it. Find it on amazon. It's real bb cream, not drug store tinted moisturizer "bb cream"

I'd kind of like to know why you want foundation that has that much coverage. If you have skin problems, I'd really try to work at the root of the problem instead of trying to camouflage it. Just sayin.
That being said, flawless foundation with full coverage that isn't the texture of stage makeup is more about application method than it is about the foundation. Try stippling/using a beauty blender.
Random aside to Hilary: I was thinking of buying the Skin79 in the orange bottle. Have you tried it?

And Cassandra M., I promise you when they finished putting the make up ...the foundation actually...on the girl, she looked like she was made of glass lol she looked perfect. Like a Barbie and there was light in that back room, believe me! It just looked like they put a mask of magical perfection on her face. She looked smooth like whipped cream..let me shut up now lol

Estee Lauder Double Wear i use two layers of this, one layer with maximum coverage then i let it dry for ten minutes (use a flat foundation brush), then i give another very thin layer over problem areas again let it dry for 5 minutes then buff my face with a duo fiber brush. try it! its honestly the best foundation ive ever used i get very oily skin i set this with Mac Prep and Prime loose powder and its absolutely flawless! good luck!! xxxxxxxxxx
