It is one of my many insecurities to have a pimple so how do I make it go away?

Don't touch it. That makes it worse. You can pop it (but might be red).. Wash you face too. I've heard if you put honey on a pimple and stick a bandaid over it & sleep over night with it, that it works. :-)
