I have very curly hair. I have always had trouble styling it, I wanna do something new. I'm trying to grow it out, but until it gets longer I need to do something. It's about shoulder length, and it's dark red. Please leave suggestions!!!!
Thanx,
M.

Well just start by straightening it more often!! Then you could do cute hairtyles with it like just simply braid your bangs!! Start easy then get into the difficult stuff!!

If you want to grow your hair, don't straighten it! It just causes more damage and breakage! Try updos for styling, braids and buns always look cute in curly hair! Try doing deep treatments and protein treatments once in a while, it makes a huge difference! HTH!

I agree with Brianna L.
if you want to grow ur hair thn don't straighten thm,it will cause them harm.
You should go for stylish buns or try to tie your hair upwards only.. as curls will give a better look then!

If you want to straighten your hair, do it only every other-every 2 washes & DON'T blow dry it before. Just let it air dry in a towel over night (that way your curls won't get as tight) and straighten the next morning! I have curly hair too & this works for me while not damaging my curl pattern.

Also, put Argan oil on the ends when it's wet as well as before you straighten it to protect it & keep it smooth. Good luck! I know curly hair can be a challenge!

I don't recommend straightening it ever. Straightening only once causes irreparable damage to it. Use products that hydrate your hair ie leave in conditioners and skip everything that dries it aka sulfates, alcohol, and anything with parabens. Argan oil is a fantastic idea for extra hydration. If you do all of that your hair will be so long in no time. I started following those rules and they worked perfectly for me.

I already use a type of oil. And after that I put in curl lotion, I don't straighten it much though cause it makes my curls not as tight. My mom cut my bangs super short so I have to clip them back, and there's not a lot I can do until they grow back, I need some suggestions for that too plz.
Thank u!

Deep oil treatments and deep conditioning treatments are great for growth. And seriously if you just let it be as natural as possible and not mess with it too much it'll grow.

I have curly hair too and it gets pretty frizzy. What I do is use sulfate free products and after showering I use some pro naturals argan oil on my damp hair and comb it through, then I leave it to air dry without touching it too much. The argan oil helps it to stay smooth and define the curls. Also, I braid it before bed and put some of the argan oil over the braid to prevent it from frizzing or drying out.
