To be honest, I find most of the stuff just terrible.. I tossed most of the stuff after a few uses :( The eyshadows disappear after a few hours wear, the loose powder leaves a white cast on the face, eyeliner smudged like crazy... I do like the brushes though, they're quite nice. Overall I'm really disappointed, I expected much more and I really don't know where all the hype comes from.

Most things are good. It makes up probably 90% of my makeup collection lol because its what I can afford. But it's pretty good, I recommend experimenting with different things, but i found that things arent made equally

Elf is really great for experimenting and if you're looking for a very affordable look. I build up my collection with elf and splurge on more pricey items that I really love. Overall I adore elf (except the mascara, it dries out super fast. Maybeline is my favorite)
