Ok, because its on your chin/cheeks this is hormonal. (Like me) So, external products such as creams and lotions may help but won't completely get rid of this. You should change your pill. It isn't suiting you. Go back to your doctor/gp and explain what is happening and they should sort you out. :) xxx

I would be inclined to agree that your acne is from a hormonal imbalance but from the picture you posted they breakouts themselves seem smaller in size than normal. Usually breakouts related to hormonal imbalance are very large, red, and painful to the touch. Did the breakout start in one are and then spread out?

I get some that are under my skin + they are very painful some are just like little lumps + some are white heads as well. I started more on my lower cheek just on my side of my chin then it seemed to spread along my cheeks xz

In have horrible acne as well and I'm not sure if its hormonal. I'm thinking about going on the pill to try and see if that helps.

The redness would indicate that it might be infectious. If that's the case no face washes or birth control will fix it. Talk to your gp and see if you can get a prescription for Doxycycline or Minocycline. Those didn't work for me and I currently use ceflexin. All the medications above are pretty cheap with or without insurance.

I had the same trouble. For years I battled with acne. The only thing that has managed to work is a combo of Diffein and Noriday (the pill). I'm on week ten and never been this happy about my skin in a very long time. I'm only left with post acne marks, which the Differin is taking care of.

I have found this absolutely amazing thing. It's a little bit of honey in a small bowl (like a cup of honey) and then a teaspoon of cinnamon... Put a small layer on the are before you go to bed then wash off... Little sticky but works!! @charolotte s.

My acne was definitely hormonal. It didn't show up until I was almost 25 and no product out there would help - I tried them all! Finally I went on birth control - Tri Sprintec. It took about 3-4 months total, but my skin is totally clear now and has been for about 5 months. Good luck! I know how much it sucks to have acne. BTW Your lips are gorgeous!!

Also you can try Adult Acnomel. It's sold at the pharmacy and its a tinted, sulphur cream. It's the only product that helped me. I would load it on as soon as a pimple showed up and it helped make it shrink and go away faster.
