Luxury
Yes, it is super expensive for not a lot of product, but it is really nice. The baked gelee formula just melts into the skin, the gold is particularly a stunning shade and super reflective, metallic--doesn't look powdery or shimmery. I am fair enough I can only use the pink as a blush topper but also gorgeous.
Not worth the $78
Yeah let me start with...I am super disappointed by the product for most. I was super exited to treat myself on a nice highlighter. Well to my surprise at first glans it gorgeous!! Packaging is 100 but here is my issue and the reason for the 3 starts. The actual product it's horrible it swatch terrible no pigmentation! But okay I tried it with a brush and nothing on my skin! I was confused for a bit it's SUPER natural highlighter definitely not a beaming highlighter. Which is more my taste...with that said is it worth $78...I BIG NO!
stunning!
this was my first tom ford face product purchase (along with the afterglow palette) and it is absolutely stunning! the yellow gold highlighter is seriously my favorite thing in the world. it gives an extremely beautiful glow without looking too chunky. the rose gold i actually use a blush (mac nc25-30) because it's definitely rosy enough, but i can see it working beautifully as a highlighter for deeper skintones.
the highlighters apply like butter and diffuse nicely into the skin (you don't get that stark line between highlighted and non-highlighted skin; it's seamless!). i often times apply it with a brush first, then go in with my finger in specific areas to give t a real pop. i know it's a wet/dry formula but i've only tried it dry so far, but i can only imagine it wears just as beautifully wet. it can be as sheer as you want it or as blinding as you want it, and that's the beauty of this duo. i find the "type of highlight" to be a more 3-dimensional kind of highlight and gives your face a lot of depth. it also works beautifully on the eyes and i often use it for my tearducts and brow bone for an all around coherent glow.
overall, it's absolutely beautiful and i highly recommend it!
Perfection for mature glow
I thought it might be a bit too much for my mature skin. And I was pleasantly delighted. The highlight for me is more of an overall soft glow, not too pigmented and sheer enough to look like a kiss of sunshine when whisked all over the face. Such a soft glow that blurs wrinkles and lines as long as I do not use a heavy hand. Oh the sweet knowing is when I received sincere compliments from strangers that said your skin is beautiful, perfection. No, it is the sheer highlighting duo.
So beautiful
This Highlighter is so expensive but it's been my go to ever since I bought it. Literally so gorgeous. I like to mix both colors, the light pink highlighter looks stunning on medium-tan skin (I'm NC42 MAC for reference). The gold is a light gold that just reflect beautifully. No chunky glitter! I hate chunky glitter highlighter. Def recommend even though the price tag is hefty.
Stunning
I had yet to try Tom Ford till Beautylish started carrying his products and O.M.G...I can now see what the hype is all about. This palette gives the most beautiful glow without the Shimmer and glitter. I don't understand the price tag for such little product but, I can't say I wouldn't purchase again. It is a luxury item and definitely worth the splurge. Can't wait to try more of his products.
Pleasant Surprise
So, as loyal as I am to Beautylish, I have to admit that I ordered this highlighting duo from another site! I know, I know, I'm sorry!!! I just couldn't wait. HOWEVER. I will say, this is one of the most gorgeous highlighting products I have ever seen. The colors are so flattering, and the texture of both shades is like butter. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to anyone looking for a beautiful glow, and I will absolutely be purchasing this duo again.
