I read somewhere that Sonia G uses this brand so I decided to try it. These nail clippers are on a different level. They were so fast and so precise. No noise… very little to no filing required after. A pleasure. I would really like to try the cuticle scissors but that’s another story.
Blown Away
Does anyone need a $70 nail clipper? Maybe not, but I had to write this review as soon as I tried it.
I heard about Suwada nail tools, and it took me a long time to make the splurge to purchase this. I actually wanted the smaller Suwada nail clipper, but that item has been out of stock forever and I was running out of patience.
I'm not a huge manicure person, I prefer to keep my nails short, but I really started getting interested in nail appearance again. Given that we are still in a pandemic, I did not want to go the nail salon. I bought both this nail nipper and the Suwada cuticle pusher.
Again, did I need to spend this much on nail tools? Maybe not, but let me tell you - THIS CUTS LIKE BUTTER. I've never experienced this before. It literally just cuts the nail super cleanly and effortlessly.
It has a little bit of a learning curve, because this is not a straight edge nail cutter, but what's even better about this is how precisely you can shape the nail.
This tool also comes in its own carrying case, and once I saw the whole packaging I felt even better about the purchase.
I chose this tool specifically because I do have small hands and I wanted something lighter weight in my hand. I would have preferred the black handle, but I definitely appreciate the construction and how easy it was to hold.
I wrote this review the minute after I used it, and it's pretty amazing. I am a beauty tool person (Japanese makeup brushes) but I never thought I would get this excited about a nail clipper.
This is totally worth the price, especially for those who do their own nails at home and want to shape their nails like a pro. I'm going to buy this as a gift for my family and friends, it's that good.
