Great for lid colour
This brush is excellent for applying lid colour quickly and smoothly. I usually use matte eyeshadow and I prefer a soft blown-out effect, which this brush it great for on the lid. It can also be used for blending although it is not my favourite for this. The shape is very practical for my eyes and it always feels soft on the skin.
Unfortunately, it started to fray and didn't perform as well as I would have hoped
I really wanted to love this brush, I've had it since last September but no matter what I tried I just couldn't make it work for me. The craftsmanship is on par, but it has been six months and the bristles have frayed and split, and I'm very careful with my brush cleaning.
Multi-purpose brush
If you’re new to the brand or can only get one eye brush, you can’t go wrong with the Worker Pro because it’s so versatile.
I often reach for this brush to complete my eye makeup because it can: lay down lid colours; apply or blend crease colours, apply definition to the outer v, smudge shadow on the lashline or apply highlight to the brow bone. An additional bonus is the soft undyed Saikoho goat hair, which is gentle on sensitive skin and can also be used with cream, liquid or powder products.
The Worker Pro, Jumbo Blender and Mini Booster are my Sonia G must have eye brushes. Not to say I don’t like or use any others, it’s just these 3 are unique in shape & function and help me create a complete eye look in a short amount of time.
Worth it, even with the Canadian exchange rate
I will admit, I was a bit leery about spending $42.00 CDN on an eyeshadow brush, considering it was my first Sonia G brush. I wanted my first brush to be a multitasker, one that would do more than just my crease. I have to say I preferred this one to the Wayne Goss eyeshadow brush I also purchased. I think I am hooked and will definitely be changing my entire eyeshadow brush collection with some more quality made Sonia G brushes! Thank you to Beautylish as well, for making her brushes available to Canadians who don't really have many other options!
Great blender/shader
The quality is superb just like all of Sonias brushes, silky soft, luxurious handle etc. In comparison to worker 3 this brush is slightly smaller and not as thick/fluffy. Similar to a 217 but not as thick. This brush is really good at packing on color as well as blending, a true multitasker.
I love this brush!
This brush is so refined and such a nice addition to my growing Sonja G collection of brushes! It makes it easy to lay down pigment in a very controlled, precise way. It’s similar to another one I have that is shaped the same but in dyed goat hair. I prefer the undyed goat hair because to me, it’s more versatile.
Must-have for hooded lids!!
As someone with hooded eyelids and looser skin on the outer part of my eye, I regularly have to carefully finesse my brushes when applying eyeshadow to my outer V to prevent skipping. However, this brush has changed the game for me! It's slightly smaller than the typical 217-style blending brush, but this wonderful brush fits in that part of my eye perfectly and blends product there like a dream. If you encounter similar isssues with eyeshadow application in the outer V, strongly consider having this in your collection!
