Love it!
I only needed the master face…. Al the other in the set. I already had them… But the master face is never in stock… So.. I did buy the hole set! Love them all! So why not a couple double.. We can always use extra blush brushes! Soon they will be sold individually, I will buy a second Master Face. Thank you beautylish for giving us the change to get the great brushes! Love from the Netherlands!
SO SOFT
So I was on the fence with these brushes as I didnt know if they would be worth the price but lord these are great. Once I washed them and they fluffed out I was surprised at how better they got once washed a few times. These are smaller to me than the original red handled brushes but I seem to reach for these more. I dont have a big face so I feel i can get into the smaller areas better.
The. HYPE. Is. REAL. This set is 100% worth it.
What can I say except... all the rave reviews are true and Sonia G is a genius. These brushes are of the highest quality. The craftsmanship is incredible. They are better than my MAC, NARS, WG, Fenty, tom ford, chanel, RT brushes. Why? Well firstly, I can tell A LOT of thought was put into, the shape of each brush, the type of hairs used, the density, the gorgeous glazed handles. The shapes are unique and intuitive in use- they make every task effortless and all are innovative in their intended purpose while remaining versatile to be used in different ways. They are beyond soft and gentle on my sensitive skin yet they are somehow strong. Sonia G described her brushes perfectly- soft yet strong. Although other brushes might be just as soft, they may not be as efficient in placing color as Sonia's. The master face I use to buff power but also for bronzer or to buff highlight onto my shoulders/collarbone. The soft cheek brush- omg amazing for pigmented blushes for a soft diffused look. The classic cheek- I can not even tell you how soft it is- wonderful for precise yet effortlessly blended blush. The mini cheek- the perfect highlighter brush- soft yet picks up gelee formulas for a blended highlighter with no harsh edges. The fan brush- amazing for contouring or precise bronzer. YUP YUP YUP- the hype is real. I clearly have a huge brush collection and every one of Sonia's brushes in the sky set hold their own unique place in my collection. I am beyond happy with my purpose!
So soft
I like 3 of the brushes very much, mini cheek for highlighter, soft cheek for blush and the classic cheek for cream blush. I don’t care too much for the fan brush, I tried using it for bronzer but can’t seem to blend it out well and it’s to big for highlighter. The master face is ok but I wanted it for finishing powder and I find it not big enough and could be less dense. I love the weight of the brushes and colour.... I hope she comes out with a Tiffany blue set! <3
Leider.
Amazing but DELICATE
These are my first sets of handmade brushes (I bought the Sky Face and Sky Eye sets separately). They’re amazing and I love them. They’re all very soft, distribute product well, and generally work as they’re intended to.
The only downside is how soft the metal is on the ferrule. I accidentally dropped two brushes (on two different occasions—one flew out of my hand when I picked it up to use it, another fell when I swept them all up to put them away after washing). I was so upset when I picked up my classic cheek brush and found the edge where the ferrule and the bristles met had bent, distorting the brush shape. I figured it’s because it is denser and therefore a little heavier that the ferrule bent on impact. On the occasion where I dropped my soft shader, the same thing occurred. Ferrule was bent, the brush shape distorted. Maybe they use this softer ferrule because brushes are handmade.
I swear I’m not that big of a klutz...I don’t usually drop things, and I take really good care of my expensive items. I’m a little disappointed, mostly in myself, because of course I’ve never dropped my cheap brushes..........just my super beautiful, pricey, delicate Sonia G ones. The brushes themselves are still 5-star worthy because they still perform well...but would it be possible to use a stronger metal for the ferrule?
Anyway, if there’s anything to take away from my misfortune, it’s this: don’t drop your brushes.
😭
Im so happy i bought this!
I thought people were joking that these were better than the pro because looking at the photos the shapes look basic. But oh my God. This fills the gap of what the pro and the fundamental brushes were missing. I love all Sonia Gs brushes. I adore all my chikuhodo and koyudo squirrel and fox brushes but i could safely say Sonia's brushes are as soft as those of the koyudos and chikuhodos.
I only lack the brush holder.. Which i just placed an order for 1! Im seriously contemplating in getting a 2nd but ill try to hold off 😂
True Beauty!
These brushes are absolutely gorgeous! Each one has something I love about it that I could tell you all about! If you can buy the entire face collection grab it before it goes!! I purchased these during the restock so I got the second run of brushes and I can tell you anything that anyone complained about in the first launch had been corrected in this second launch. The Face Master Hugs your face in such a unique way and so far I see no shedding with this brush (like was described by others in the first launch) I would highly suggest this set, or the red pro set she also sells equally perfect for anyone looking to buy higher quality brushes! Look here!!
