Mastic Must

I LOVE Deciem’s (Ordinary, NIOD) products, but this one did absolutely NOTHING in terms of smoothing & tightening my pores or very fine wrinkles around my mouth/chin area, so I’m dubious that it would do anything for major wrinkles. Those who adore Tom Ford’s Noir Pour Femme parfum (which has a mastic note) will recognize & love this product’s Mastic resin’s creamy & ambery scent, but that’s about it. This mask left a thin film on my face which made it feel dry, and offered no additional benefits i.e. moisturizing, exfoliating, brightening, nor anything else, for the matter.

This product smells great and is a really neat idea. You rub it on your face every morning, rinse off and blow dry your face for 15 seconds. It actually does make the pores noticeably smaller if not invisible as well as smooth out the skin. My skin is softer since I’ve been using it. I feel like I look younger. It could be a mind thing and I’m also taking 400,000 IU of vitamin A daily so not sure if that’s why I look much better. My skin texture has improved. I’m going to purchase the other NIOD products within this line. My skin feels healthier and cleaner. I also like the fact that it’s a morning mask because I love to feel like I’m doing something in the morning and not just at night. I think this is a valuable product. It’s a lot of product so I’ll be using this stuff for a while. I also leave this mask on longer than 10 minutes. I can go several hours with it on. It dries up kind of clear so I sometimes forget I’m even wearing it. I do recommend this product. My skin feels like I’m 10 years old.

I've just finished my first tube of this. I love it. I use it almost every morning, sometimes with the blow dryer option, sometimes without. My skin looks and feels smoother and more radiant after I use it. I don't see any difference with the blow dryer. It's also great for travel because it's in a tube.

There's no doubt that this is a little odd, but it's really worth the hassle. My skin is smoother, especially my t zone. I love it!!!

You can't imagine how thrilled I am with this product! OK, yes it is a little messy, but what mask isn't ;) ? The results are so far beyond what I expected, that since it arrived I have not missed a day of use (which is unusual for me, as i can get lazy about my skincare routine). My 61 yr old face is smoother, and my skin-tone has never been better....makeup goes on so smoothly....my skin is soft....its texture improves day-by-day. All in all it is now a "must have" product...along with the other wonderful products from NIOD that have "reverse-aged" my appearance by 10 years--no exaggeration...even my medical doctor noticed how much better my face and neck now look compared to 6 months ago, and she asked me to list the products I use! :)

After becoming pregnant/ a new mom, I figured that I should just splurge a little more on facials at home. I can't go to my regular facial spot (no lying down on your back) and who has time to luxuriate for a couple hours anymore? This mask attracted me because you only have to leave it on for 10 minutes, blow dry, then ta-da... tighter firmer skin.

IT WORKS. I can feel my skin becoming tighter (in a good way) and my pores look clean and smaller, all while bebe naps.

I have used this mask only 3 times. But i can definitely see tighter skin after each use. Blow drying makes it even better. I did notice that skin tone is much better after I wash the mask off.

I do find it is a hassle to use this mask in the morning before work so that's why I use it mostly when I am home or work from home.
