Never Doubt Teddy
At first I was on the fence about this shade as it swatched with a red undertone against my nc45 skintone. So I left it behind and bought another liner. What a huge mistake!!! After consulting with a few BL members I was informed it would perfect on me. So a few hours later back to the counter I went. And they were 110% correct. Beautiful shade that makes my eyes POP!! Smudged gives me a quick look that will be great for those mornings I gotta dash out. Definitely will repurchase.
Lots of product, good color, very good liner
I never use liner in the water line, so my opinion is stated, from using it on the upper lash line and beneeth the lower lashes. On my eyes it lasts all day long. I have had this since february, and I have used it a ton, is so easy, a true no-brainer to use every day. This is standard for my everyday looks, because it always look good. Heavily applied or just drawn along the upper lash line. A must for every girl. Lovely product.
Super sharp and hard to apply!
It might be because the eyeliner was a bit old, but my eyeliner was very hard even after I sharped it multiple times (talk about waste of product), which can be a problem when applying it to your waterline. I totally almost stabbed my eyeball out with it! Hopefully this was just a bad experience with an older eyeliner and doesn't happen to anyone else.
Very soft pencil
My makeup purse hasn't been without Teddy for almost 10 years. It's the perfect brown to pep up your eyes, thanks to the bronze sparkle which is a pretty alternative to regular old brown. The pencil is really soft so it goes on easily, never drags.
My only gripes are that it's so soft that it smudges - as nice as it looks when I first put it on, I know that it'll soon end up on my eyelid. Still, even that isn't a bad look! Also, lately I've had trouble with the lead just breaking off after every sharpening, which is a big waste :s
Gorgeous golden brown pencil
Teddy is a stunning rich chocolate with copper undertones, shot through with gold shimmer. It feels really creamy on, and for some reason, doesn't smudge as much as the other MAC Kohl's I've tried. Perhaps it's because most of those have a black base and this is a lighter color overall. I love wearing this on the lid as a base for bronze eye shadows (especially MAC Mulch eye shadow). It brings out the gold in my eyes and is PERFECT in summer paired with a shiny coral lip gloss (I love Chanel Glossimer in Sirop). This is such a unique and pretty shade and is definitely worth a look, for every eye color.
