Acid Mantle Repair Facial Moisturizer

It's my first time trying this brand and I'm so glad I did. I have very dry skin and I've tried many moisturizers but none come close to how great this one is. It's a little pricey but a little goes a long way and the results are worth every penny.

I'm a skincare nerd, and had tried perhaps 12 different moisturizers for my - according to a string of dermatologists - inexplicably red skin. I had a reverse raccoon situation where my face was darker and red, reactive and upset skin - and around my eyes a shocking white. (Likely medication-induced, and not cute!) Lord Jones has been the ONLY thing that works. It calmed my skin down noticeably after the first day. I don't even use my Drunk Elephant moisturizer anymore, I've abandoned Ren, I will never try another one -- just Lord Jones 2x/day. I will be devastated if they ever stop making this, it's the best thing to happen to my skin since I learned about SPF in my teens. I hope they expand their skincare line! Would love a moisturizer containing SPF. Cannot say enough good things about this product. I agree with the other commenter that the spoon is a bit of an odd shape, but who doesn't love a tiny golden spoon?

I use prescription Retin A as well as a strong C, and my skin get very dry. This cream repairs it. You don't need a ton of it either. The one thing I don't like is the scoop. It has a small, deep bowl, and it's hard to get all the product out. But I have other scoops that I use with it. This has become a staple - I can't imagine being without it.

I've been using this daily for a month now and am seeing results in my skin. The redness I have on my cheeks has gone away, my complexion is brighter. This cream is everything it claims. So far everything from this brand is in my fave arsenal!!

I have dry, sensitive, and reactive skin and effective moisturizer has always been the most important part of my skincare. I was curious to try CBD skincare after hearing about its anti-inflammatory properties-- my skin troubles always start with itchiness and inflammation and if I can keep that under control I'm in the clear. I decided to try this when I ran out of my last moisturizer because of its focus on regulating the acid mantel and because of the cream texture and I've been really pleased since the switch! The texture is definitely on the thicker side-- it's more of a buttery/balmy creaminess-- so a little goes a long way and going overboard can leave a slight film. I put it on at night and what has amazed me is that most mornings I don't even need to put on a day cream because the moisture is so lasting-- that's a first for me! It also makes me believe that the cream really is helping my skin self-regulate. Since it's so calming and hydrating, I've also been able to start using some gentle retinol (which was always too drying/irritating before) so my skin is looking better than ever!

I’ve been using this for a handful of days both day and night and I am hooked. The texture is amazingly buttery and rich but not overly heavy. Like nothing else I’ve tried. My skin instantly looks smooth and glowing. My redness is reduced. No overpowering scent. In love.
