Cleanser

I like this as a first cleanse, it really does remove makeup well. It takes about the same effort as most balms to get off, so a few splashes of water and a little massaging. The smell takes a little while to get used to - it's clove and eucalyptus... at first I didn't like it but now that I've used it a few times I fell like it is more of an experience. You can certainly find less expensive oil/balm cleansers, but if you want a fully immersive sensory experience, this one is for you.

This cleanser is THE best! It dissolves make up and leaves my skin clean and soft. Highly recommend!

This was such a disappointment. I had purchased one and loved it. The second one I got was obviously spoiled-smelled off, was chunky. For the price I would think there would be better quality control.

Yep may be overrated Mineral Oil but every time I use it, I feel as though I've walked out of a spa. This is "an experience" & will continue to buy. I use this as my second cleanse. I think this product is too expensive to take off my makeup. BioDerma does that job first. I use this with the Muslin cloth. I switch between this and Liz Earle Hot Cleanse. Clinique Take the Day Off was like a bad wax candle. I threw the sample away- I couldn't stand it!

I wasnt impressed with this cleanser when I first tried it. The smell was just wrong. So I packed it up and was ready to send it back. Then I went to sleep. Woke up the next day and my skin felt so nice. I took a closer look and some of the blemishes looked smaller which was a big deal because for about a year Ive had hormonal acne on my neck that doesnt want to go away. This morning it felt and looked different. I decided to give the cleanser another try so I put it in my calendar to cleanse every other day with the Eve Lom (to try and save since its so expensive) and quickly I have seen results. Now what I do is I use the Eve Lom and the Chamomile Cleansing Butter Balm from Body Shop to cleanse my face. Its a miracle how clear my skin has become. Loving it!

This is a good cleanser, but honestly, I get the same results with a $10 jar of coconut oil. I am a real patsy when it comes to products, and I was willing to shell out $50 for a cleanser. I hope I learned my lesson. That is just too much to pay for a cleanser, no matter what is promised. Seriously, all we should expect is a gentle, thorough cleaning, and you will get the same results with coconut oil using the same technique that is instructed with this cleanser.
