So very disappointed
I was so excited when I got this product, the color story really appealed to me. That was the only appealing thing. The pigmentation was awful as was the staying power. I think I had it on for about 2 hours when it started to fade. The only thing that didn't fade was the fall out, that was consistent throughout the day. I've never work shadow that had such a bad fallout issue. What a disappointment.
Gorgeous pallet I was very excited to receive in my lucky bag... until I tried to use it. Could hardly get it to transfer to a brush, once I did the fallout was constant throughout the day. It lasted with the primer, but it was so difficult to work with (both the matte and shimmer). It was disappointing and infuriating. Such gorgeous colors but not remotely manageable. Also, am I the only that thought it felt gritty?
Lucky bag big disappointment
This is a beautiful palette but I am truly disappointed! Out of all the eye shadow palettes available I get the sign in my lucky bag but I already received the smaller version in my boxycharm. I so wanted to try ABH but instead I received basically a duplicate of what I already have.
Meh
I got this in my lucky bag and was really excited to try the brand. It is beautiful to look at. The shimmer/glitter shadows seemed to apply more like a topper (nothing like the swatches pictured). I applied over a primer as usual. They were extremely gritty and irritated the crap out of my eyes. I’m disappointed in the quality of this. This doesn’t compare to any of the other brands carried by Beautylish ( such as Natasha, ABH, Charlotte, J*,viseart). I don’t care how things swatch but I could feel the grit with my fingers not just my eyelids. And to top it off, there was glitter fall out all over my face later in the day. Maybe I should try a glitter glue?
Really beautiful...
This palette is just stunning. I received it the other day in my Lucky Bag and was really excited to try this brand. Of all of the DC palettes, this is the one I really wanted. It has some heavily mixed reviews on other sites, so I never pulled the trigger. What I found is that while I'd love to use a brush with the glitters/shimmers, they are pressed so hard that they don't easily transfer onto a brush and then not onto the eye. I took a star off for having to use a glitter glue and my finger. Once I did that, I got some amazingly gorgeous easy looks, it just took a tiny bit more work than some of my other shimmers that don't need fingers or glue. The mattes blended beautifully for me over a primer too. This palette is very easy to get a quick stunning eye. I will be trying more from the brand.
