Applies blush flawlessly. It's like magic! It evenly distributes the product onto your cheek. It's not to dense and it's super soft.

This brush exists for good reason...

I have very soft blush brushes. My Make Up For Ever blush brush is goregous and well-made and softer than soft but it's super bendy and not as precise as I would like. I wanted a blush brush that was a little stiffer so I had more control over my application and this brush is PERFECTION for that!

No, it doesn't feel like silk on your face but it also doesn't feel like tree bark. It's not really all that rough or scratchy. I think we've all become accustomed to such extreme softness in our synthetic brushes that anything less feels cheap. But sometimes you need depth and hold, like in this brush which was created specifically for the swish and pop blushses (which are all I've been reaching for lately). Here the stiffness of this brush is marvelous because I can easily distinguish between the two shades. And it picks up color so effortlessly. but doesn't eat it down into the bristles. It's a wonderful brush! It's fabulous for highlighting as well. I think this is a brush that everyone would benefit from having in their collection.

Next up for me is Charlotte's bronzing brush!

Nice blush brush, good for building up color, not as soft as my Chikuhodo squirrel hair brushes but definitely not scratchy either. I like the long handle and ease of use. Blends color pretty well without disturbing makeup underneath, doesn't shed and seems well made. Definitely a keeper!

Love the design, hate how rough it is

I got this in one of the sets. Let me start off by saying that I don't have sensitive skin but this brush has really irritated my skin. I love the handle design that keeps it from falling from the desk and I love the size of the brush but I rarely go for it because of its roughness.

Beautiful Brush

I was really surprised when I bought this brush. No, its not as soft as my gray squirrel hair brushes, but that isn't what this brush was designed for. It was designed to go with Charlotte's blushes, and in that, its perfect. I purchased several of her blushes, and I was using the MAC 116 at first then the Bobbi Brown blush brush to apply it, and I wasn't liking the result. I purchased Charlotte's brush 1) curiosity 2) really liked the design of the handles and the rose gold ferrules 3) love make up brushes. I did a little research online and the only german company I could find with similar brushes were da vinci brushes. You can go to their website and see the process on how they are made as well as look them up on Youtube. I'm almost positive they are the OEM for her line, because of the similarity of the handles and the ferrules. Another website has the hair of her natural brushes listed as a mixture of goat/squirrel. The blush brush is not incredibly soft, but it isn't hard either. I think its perfect for what its needed. My skin isn't so sensitive that I need to use my Chikuhodo's all the time. And if you are a brush collectore, give Charlotte's brushes a try. You'll be surprised. This brush hasn't shed any hairs.
