Now that I know this exists, I can't do without it
I've tried many hair oils and had pretty much given up because I didn't like the residue they left, made my hair look super greasy, or didn't do anything to tame dryness or frizz at all.
I had heard good things about bumble and bumble so I splurged on the full size of this oil, and it is my absolute favourite oil ever. The full size bottle lasts me just under a year using it every time I wash my hair (2-3x per week) and whenever my hair feels dry I finger comb a pump or two through my dry hair to bring it back to life.
I didn't realize how well it was taming my fly aways/frizz and hydrating my hair until I stopped using it. I have long hair (lower back length), and it's super wavy (borderline curls but not quite) but not thick at all and this has never, ever, made my hair greasy.
My hair is pretty dry, but like any oil obviously don't apply close to your roots. I work in the majority on the bottoms of my hair, then if I have frizz up top I use the leftover oil on my hands to *lightly* smooth it down by running my fingers through it.
I've been buying it religiously for three years now and I have no plans on stopping. Price is a little much but considering how long it lasts me, it's a good investment.
Great Smoothing Effect
Since I have straight, medium density hair that is dry, damaged and color treated, this oil is my best friend! The product is very multipurpose for me since I can use it on both damp and dry hair. While it is not the driest and most lightweight oil I have come across, I appreciate the slightly thicker feeling for when my hair is damp so it doesn’t just disappear into nothing. Not to say this is a thick or heavy oil but it has a bit of heft to it so that your hair feels nourished upon application. Because my hair is so dry, I can use this on dry hair daily and not feel weighed down.
The blend of oils used include nourishing oils like coconut, argan and macadamia as well as drier oils such as squalane and grapeseed oil. This great mixture contributes to a texture with the oil that is both moisturizing and not too heavy. If you have very fine hair and find this to be too heavy when used dry, I would try using a small amount only when the hair is damp. I highly recommend this for medium to thick hair as it can be used both wet and dry. If you have very dry, damaged and/or processed hair, this product will be super helpful with adding back moisture and reducing breakage!
Great for dry ends
With grey hair, some products can dull or yellow the color. I got this as a sample and applied to the ends of my hair while it was still wet. I have long and layered hair that I air dry. The oil has a lovely scent, did not leave my hair greasy and added sheen.I have tried other oils and they leave my hair greasy and start to stink after a few days. This is the best I've tried so I'm ordering the full size.
So far so good
I have had this product for about a week now. I wanted something to help detangle my hair along with heat protection. This seems to be really working well. Perk it doesn't make my hair greasy. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it. Just one pump worked through my damp/ dry hair seems to do the trick. I have also noticed that the condition of my hair is getting better every day.
Just an oil
This product smells amazing but unfortunately is just like any other oil does the same thing as any other oil for hair well at least in my hair it did . Not really sure if i liked it or not . But very happy with beautylish and there customer service rep.
