So Pretty

I’ve used this powder in the past and had mixed feelings. I decided to give it another try. I also collect compacts and already have the blue version of this. Like that one this is plastic and very lightweight. I typically like something more heavy duty. If you’re used to Asian cosmetics, this feels more like the less expensive cushion compacts.

The product is actually in the compact with what is essentially double sided tape. If you want to travel with this, keep the puff even if you don’t like using it. It’ll help keep the pan in place should the adhesive give way. There’s a slot versus pinhole to remove the pan. I actually prefer this. It makes removing the pan much easier. The compact is also deep enough if you wanted to put in a magnetic sheet you could. I buy adhesive backed magnetic sheets on Amazon.

In terms of the actual powder. It smells nice, feels nice, but I can’t say it really does much. Maybe because I’m already quite pale or maybe I haven’t paid enough attention I don’t see any difference. All I know is it doesn’t break me out and I have sensitive skin. The hand cream is quite nice. I HATE sticky creams and can’t stand the feeling on my palms. Consequently my hands get way too dry and crack. This is awesome because it doesn’t leave that awful feeling and it did a really good job of hydrating. I’d buy it again just for that. So hard to find a well hydrating cream that just sinks in and leaves no tackiness or film.
