It's okay.
I bought this product in regards to high reviews and great commentary. People claimed that this foundation provides medium- if not full coverage for up to 16 hours. The coverage this foundation provides is nice. It covers up acne and any redness. I found the texture of this foundation to be greasy even with powder over the top. I have combination skin but I still like to stay matte all day. This foundation did not make it through the average school day (6-7 hours) without slipping off. In order for me to get the coverage I wanted from this foundation, I used a damp knock off beauty blender sponge. I thought that I was happy with this foundation until I found another foundation that provided the same amount of coverage and kept me matte all day. I recommend this product to someone with EXTREMELY dry skin all over, and not just dry patches since it is so oily. The price of the Revlon ColorStay Foundation is average for a drug-store foundation. ($9 at Walmart) Overall, I am not pleased with the performance of this foundation even though it is raved and raved about. I would not re-purchase this product again.
Makes lashes look long
I received a sample size of this mascara in Benefit's birthday gift bag from Sephora. I had tried this mascara from a friend in the past and didn't understand what all of the hype on this mascara was about. After using this mascara on a daily basis, I grew to like it. The bristles on the wand of this mascara come in handy for the inner-corner lashes. Benefit claims this mascara to be the "#1 mascara in the world" which I disagree with. This mascara is nice, but I feel that there is mascaras from the drugstore (CoverGirl Clump Crusher, Maybelline Falsies) that work just as great without the high end price. Even though this mascara hasn't surprised me as an individual too much, I can understand why women with unnaturally curly eyelashes would treasure this product. Overall, I feel this mascara is mediocre and drugstore mascara is comparable.
Works well.
This brush provides great performance for the price. ($8.00 at Ulta) I purchased this brush due to the fantastic number of five star reviews. This brush is also very soft on the skin and easy to clean. It blends foundation and concealer pretty well. The only down-side to the Expert Face Brush is that it takes up a lot more foundation than another average brush would. For the flawless finish of this brush, I don't mind using more foundation than average. (But that's just me) I would recommend the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to any make-up beginner. This is a nice brush to help build and add to a make-up collection.
