Revlon
ColorStay Foundation For Combination/Oily Skin
Reviews
Really good!
I like this foundation because it has yellow undertones, and it stays in place all day. It can be fairly difficult to remove. Right now my skin is very dry due to the winter and retin-a and sometimes it clings to dry patches. However, when my skin was oily it was perfect and gave me the matte finish I wanted.
Horrid
I used famous Revlon Color stay on a friend of mine who was begging for me to do her make up. She has oily skin and Revlon Color stay was what she uses so I went with it.
I found this foundation to be quite cakey, regardless of skin type. It seems to apply cakey and blend cakey, so I'm not sure what the hype is for this particular foundation. It sure did look unnatural as well. Through out the day I couldn't stop staring at the random dry patches through out her face that weren't there before. The smell is quite unpleasant, it smells like paint and I am sure the mix of ingredients this foundation uses is not going to be Skin Friendly. It seemed to irritate her current break out.
I was definitely disappointed in this foundation. I always hear such great things about it, and my only regret is allowing her to walk around with a cake face. The ironic part was that I only applied a thin layer which I blended out well so I was definitely surprised to see how awful it looked.
Pretty sure it's just me...
This foundation cakes up really bad, incredibly easily, and it oxidizes a lot. I haven't heard anyone else talk about that, so I'm pretty sure it's just me. When it oxidizes it also ends up making me look orange when my skin tone is pretty neutral. Wouldn't reccomend.
Great for my skin type!
I have combo skin, it can be totally oily one week and then as dry as sandpaper the other. I also break out sometimes too. This makes my skin look flawless and not shiny. Also this didn't break my skin out. I recommend this to anyone who has skin like mine. (I don't really care about how it has a "smell", I didn't notice it at all.)
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Ok so i bought this yesterday and i went to Disneyland today and thought id put it to the test and let me tell you i am in LOVE with this foundation. I didn't touch up all day so i could see if it would wear off and i didn't even need to and it was hot! Didn't make me oily at all and i have very oily skin. This is seriously my new favorite foundation. If any of you are wondering i use the shade "220 natural beige"
Very good drugstore foundation!
I had watched many YouTube gurus rave about this particular foundation and figured I had to give it a try. I bought it in the color Buff for normal/dry skin, and it's the perfect color match for my skin tone. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way! It looks flawless on my face. The only con that this foundation has for me personally is that it can look a little patchy right around my nose. My nose is super dry, but as long as I moisturize well and apply a good primer beforehand it goes on perfect. I would definitely recommend this foundation.
Long Lasting
I just bought this makeup a week ago and i am in love! I have tried high end foundations and not so high end ones, this make up is amazing even better than ones I have gotten at Sephora! This foundation is amazing and i would definetly reccommend this to all of you! The price is great and I suare it lasts all day and it has a matte finish! Simply Amazing foundation..I am so happy with this purchase. Please go out and buy , you will not be disappointed!
A must for oily skin
I have oily skin and this is by far one of the best foundations I have used. This foundation stays in place and just needs a touch up of powder to get through a whole day. It is well worth the price while I do wish it had a pump. The formula could be a little thick, personally I recommend using a stippling brush for a light to medium coverage. The shade range could be better compared to brands like cover girl. Over all, a solid foundation that does what it says.
