Beauty Product Reviews

Oh my goodness she is a beaute !

This color story is the one I’ve been waiting for! If you love soft muave colors you will love this. It has the perfect balance of warm and cool tones that combine so well together for plenty of different looks. There are A few different textures (mattes, metallic, very subtle duo chromes) but all very soft and sophisticated. Nothing crazy dramatic but soft dreamy looks. This is my first time trying viseart and the I love the formula. Compared to Charlotte tilbury, PG, and Natasha denona, the metallics aren’t as foiled and creamy but they aren’t as thick which I like and still look divine. The mattes are buildable, blend and diffuse with no effort which I prefer- (a layer is sheer but build up to full intensity if you want). Overall the formula is more powdery but none have fallout except the shade on the lower most left (very slight). I find this formula very sophisticated, buildable, easy to work with, forgiving on my eyes, and last incredibly well as it layers thinly on my hooded eyes. Buildable formulas give me control in intensity and are versatile for whether I’m going to a party or going to work. The packaging is just so gorgeous and this size palette is just perfect. I’m usually one to never get anything more than a quint but viseart’s etundu palettes are non-intimidating, easy, cohesive not to mention travel friendly.

First impressions: I like it but expected more

I have to agree with CR. below... this brush is prickly and not as soft as I expected- not as soft as sonia G, wayne goss, or even synthetics. However, I decided to keep because of the unique shape. I tried it with some cream blush and contour and it really does diffuse and blend extremely well and quickly despite being a little prickly. From my experience, a coarse brush can also have it's uses (ex: hard pressed powders, blends cream/liquids better.) I wouldn't recommend if you have extremely sensitive skin or prefer only extremely soft brushes. The handle is also extremely lightweight, definitely feels cheaper than other brands available on beautylish.

The. HYPE. Is. REAL. This set is 100% worth it.

What can I say except... all the rave reviews are true and Sonia G is a genius. These brushes are of the highest quality. The craftsmanship is incredible. They are better than my MAC, NARS, WG, Fenty, tom ford, chanel, RT brushes. Why? Well firstly, I can tell A LOT of thought was put into, the shape of each brush, the type of hairs used, the density, the gorgeous glazed handles. The shapes are unique and intuitive in use- they make every task effortless and all are innovative in their intended purpose while remaining versatile to be used in different ways. They are beyond soft and gentle on my sensitive skin yet they are somehow strong. Sonia G described her brushes perfectly- soft yet strong. Although other brushes might be just as soft, they may not be as efficient in placing color as Sonia's. The master face I use to buff power but also for bronzer or to buff highlight onto my shoulders/collarbone. The soft cheek brush- omg amazing for pigmented blushes for a soft diffused look. The classic cheek- I can not even tell you how soft it is- wonderful for precise yet effortlessly blended blush. The mini cheek- the perfect highlighter brush- soft yet picks up gelee formulas for a blended highlighter with no harsh edges. The fan brush- amazing for contouring or precise bronzer. YUP YUP YUP- the hype is real. I clearly have a huge brush collection and every one of Sonia's brushes in the sky set hold their own unique place in my collection. I am beyond happy with my purpose!

Very similar to my mac 139 but somehow it's just not the same

Don't get me wrong, I love this brush. It's the same excellent quality and craftsmanship as all other sonia G brushes but I guess my expectation was to find a dupe for my OG and now discontinued Mac 139. This comes JUST short. It just doesn't pack as intensely or efficiently as my MAC. The shape is EXTREMELY similar. This brush is ultra soft, very dense, similar shape but just a tad bit thicker. I believe my Mac hairs are coarser, not as soft, pricklier and therefore picks up more shadow.

Elegant, sophisticated, effortless

I knew I wanted this quad the second I saw it swatched & I absolutely love it. The pink color has a very subtle duochrome - pink to gold but in a very sophisticated way. It is very obviously pink but still work appropriate. the color is so unique, the texture is so creamy, smooth, metallic- it's DIVINEE!! I apply it wet or with my finger when I want to amp the intensity up. The white shade is a bit pale for me for all over my lids but great for inner corner highlight AND if you are light-med skintone like me, it's a gorgeous face highlighter!! The texture melts right into my cheekbones. The two brown shades are the same gorgeous formula, so blendable, two stunning neutral to cooler browns. my one minor critique is the two browns look very similar on my eyes. The wet/dry formula is so versatile and of the highest quality. This quad is expensive but you do get a lot of product. But the pink shade is what makes this palette- it is so special, feminine, PRETTY, classy...!! Overall, I just LOVE this color story.

Holy grail! Versatile! The missing gap in my brush collection for my small eyes.

This quality of this brush is amazing and the shape is so versatile! The small shape is great for detailed work. It has multiple uses- packing on colors intensely on the outer corners of my lids, lining my upper and lower lash line, getting into the inner corners for highlight, delicate brow bone highlight, & concise concealing work. This brush might look delicate and tiny but this PACKS A PUNCH!! The hairs are packed tight and the brush is stiff so it is a workhouse for laying down color. The quality is top notch... extremely, ultra soft! My eyes are very delicate and also small- I could never find a brush small or soft enough to place shadow on my bottom lash line. This is now my HG for that purpose. Turned to the side, it creates a nice thin line of shadow and is so soft and non irritating. Sonia G does it again... she is a genius!

Unique shape- Such a great piece in my collection

I have small eyes and this is the perfect shape and size for my lids. The arrow allows me to get right into my corners. I was initially worried because it's not as stiff as my beloved Mac 139... I thought it would not pack on very well but it actually performs great for packing and is amazing to pick up and place glitters in a very delicate & precise way with minimal fallout. It's not AS much of a workhouse for packing intense colors like my mac 139 but this brush is a great add to my collection since its shape & size is so unique. The brush hairs are ultra soft and the handle is beautiful.

LOVE IT

I was skeptical about the shape but it's actually very intuitive. It has really good "spring" for a lip brush and the angle makes it easy to make sharp lines esp around the cupids bow.

So impressed

This is the BEST blending brush for diffusing and blending color in to make eyeshadow look seamless and edges look soft. It's fairly large & fluffy. I love my Sonia G's which are more firm but this brush is floppier in a good way. It is so so soft and gentle- it actually is so soothing to use. I use this mostly to "finish" my eye looks. I run it all over my crease and sometimes over my entire eye at the end to make everything look soft and blended. I also sometimes use to lay down a soft, diffused, wash of color throughout my entire eye for an easy one eyeshadow look. The more I use this brush, the more I LOVE it!

If a pencil brush and a blender brush had a baby...

An ode to the mini booster: this is literally the BEST brush for small asian eyes/ hooded eyes. It's the perfect baby size to define my outer V. It's stiff enough that it works like a pencil brush BUTTT.. airy enough that it diffuses and blends at the same time like a blender brush! It's a 2 in 1... GENIUS. FLAWLESS. & It's SOOOO SOFT, it's unreal. I've also used it for a more defined crease look. I used to use my mac 219 (natural hair) for my outer V (so prickly, I hate it!) then blend with a blender brush (217 or WG 03- two HG's.) Not anymore... This brush literally changed my life.
