Soleil Neige

This is beautiful. Perfect for the season and all year long. Endless possibilities with these high quality long shelf life shades. I have almost all Tom Ford quads and have had all the old releases. It’s impossible to go wrong with this palette. Mature, dry, oily with no makeup skills, these shadows do the work for you. Highly recommended.

Hard pan, lacks pigmentation

Upon first swatch the bottom right shade went straight hard pan. I had to dig my brush in first dry, then wet, then I finally got some semblance of pigment and then had to use my finger to dig in some more to top off the shadow I had used a wet brush to get pigment up onto my eye. The other shades are ok, but very sheer. The best shade by far is the bottom left, it’s a great topper shade. The matte is creamy but has no pigment and will serve as a buffer shade for me so I can get my moneys worth out of the palette. If you’re thinking about it I’d say skip this one. For reference I have very pale skin. I wear N0 in Mac face and body, and shade 2 in the Pat McGrath concealer, and I could go lighter if I wanted.

Great as long as you know what you’re getting

This palette is pale, and will probably not show up on medium skin tones. I have fair skin and it barely shows up on me; I think it might show up on the darker skin tones but it’s an expensive chance to take.

The sparkling shade has micro glitter and requires a glitter primer to avoid fallout. It does have that snow sparkling in the sun look though.

I wear this when I want something subtle, but I recommend Nude Dip to anyone who wants a similar look without the glitter. That one is still my favorite Tom Ford quad.

Elegant, sophisticated, effortless

I knew I wanted this quad the second I saw it swatched & I absolutely love it. The pink color has a very subtle duochrome - pink to gold but in a very sophisticated way. It is very obviously pink but still work appropriate. the color is so unique, the texture is so creamy, smooth, metallic- it's DIVINEE!! I apply it wet or with my finger when I want to amp the intensity up. The white shade is a bit pale for me for all over my lids but great for inner corner highlight AND if you are light-med skintone like me, it's a gorgeous face highlighter!! The texture melts right into my cheekbones. The two brown shades are the same gorgeous formula, so blendable, two stunning neutral to cooler browns. my one minor critique is the two browns look very similar on my eyes. The wet/dry formula is so versatile and of the highest quality. This quad is expensive but you do get a lot of product. But the pink shade is what makes this palette- it is so special, feminine, PRETTY, classy...!! Overall, I just LOVE this color story.

A great quad

The eye looks created with this quad are very elegant, sophisticated and suitable for everyday wear. The quality of the shadows are typical of TF's wet/dry formula, smooth, metallic and pigmented, although the soft white sparkle shade is a bit chunky (same texture as the white shade in 01 Soleil Neige last year), it is very sparkly on the lid.

I gave it 4 stars because if you use a brush (I used BB and SG eye brushes) to apply the shades dry, it can be somewhat muddy and the pink shade doesn't stand out as much as I wanted for a $88 palette. Plus the fact that the two brown shades are too similar.

However, the eye looks I created with my fingers or applied wet with a brush are really nice and beautiful, exactly what I wanted for a natural and night out look respectively! Check out glammining dot com for review, swatches with comparisons and eye looks.

Lovely!!!

I purchased this eyeshadow from another company due to me not knowing it was available here at the same time (otherwise I would have purchased it here since shipping and customer service is amazing). When I saw this available I had to snag it since last years Soleil Neige went so fast and I didn't get a chance to get it. After seeing YT reviews the shades are a little similar to other palettes, but this is my fourth one from TF so it was a no brainer for me! I'm every happy with my purchase. The colors are amazing and of course the formula is top notch like we would expect. You can pare this with other palettes if you don't want an all shimmer look. I look forward to purchasing other palettes from this brand. I do highly recommend if you didn't get a chance to snag the one from last year.

Stunning

That mint shade and the tab above it is to die for on my fair cool toned skin. Love it. I am not a huge fan of no matte shades so I do like to dip into another palette for at least a hint of a more classic transition shade but still use the whole quad. The white shade doesn’t show up much on my fair skin but does provide a very subtle and dare I say elegant inner corner highlight. Looks pretty on the brow bone as well but I haven’t been into that in the last few years as my eye’s hood a little more with age. The silver is beautiful as well.

These Will Take Your Breath Away-Now that They've Restocked Don't Hesitate!

Firstly, I was absolutely in love with this collection at first sight-the inspiration of Soleil Neige(which means Sun(shining on) the Snow-that brilliant fresh inviting light and color with cool yet richly captivating tones...That was Tom Ford's inspiration-so I was super excited when I received both (01) Soleil Neige and (02) Soleil Lune as a gift! When I saw they had restocked I was eager to review them!-They absolutely bring to life the beautiful color story of the collection and reflect the majestic quality that makes TF palettes so excellent. Those of you like myself who are fans of TF palettes and products will know the exquisite quality, but I still believe that these palettes will still surpass your expectations. The luxury of the pigments and the way they apply to the eye soft as silk with a amazing color saturation but also impart such a sophisticated multi-dimensional quality is incredible. That is true for his other quads as well, but these have even more of a finesse in the texture that is absolutely sublime and is fitting Winter Soleil. In both of the palettes, you really see that the shades complement the finishes perfectly and they allow you such a multi-faceted creative opportunity. In photographs they are beautiful but when you see them in person they are just sublime. In Soleil Neige(1) the way that the ethereal, gorgeous white provides a fresh contrast to the satiny, smoky taupe, shimmery royal blue and charcoal is just such a sublime combination. The way the shadows perform is so pristine, and the added sophistication and finesse really shows in the finish-and in the multi-dimensional quality is so superb. You get the supreme luxury and pigmentation that you can customize to create your own gorgeous look-as they shadows are very buildable. For Soleil Et Lune, it is exactly the same-the shades and finishes combine to create such an elegant and luxe finish. I think you will find this palette to be perfect for both winter and spring-again, I was really blown away with how the shades are exquisite alone, but really come together in such a harmonious way. The shades in Soleil Et Lune have a bright, refreshing etheral quality and have such a refined elegance when applied, and the canvas is there for you to create a much more saturated look or a softer look, or go somewhere in between. The lovely ivory, with the shimmering topaz, the grey-green and the soft green(the finesse is there for you to able to build upon and amplify the look to make it what you desire-simply a multi-dimensional masterpiece, as is Soleil Neige. These are absolutely true to Mr. Ford's focus on unparalleled luxury and vision for the inspiration for this collection.
