Better than you think!

I was pretty apprehensive to purchase this palette, but I have to say that I haven't had any of the issues that this palette has come to be known for. I really love the color story- there are some neutral shades but the vivid yellow, blue, and purple shadows are just gorgeous. The shade 'Cube' appears white in photos, but is actually a really amazing pink/orange duochrome shade.

I find the shadows apply wonderfully- I have used the brush that comes in the palette as well as my sigma brushes- and I am able to blend the shadows pretty easily. The formula is definitely different than Modern Renaissance, but this is not a negative for me. Whereas MR is more creamy, the Subculture shadows are on the powdery side. You simply have to be aware of this and dip into the product with your brush very gently, like only one tap and you're good.

I don't think this palette deserves the negativity it receives- it's a really solid palette that was the victim of bad publicity. Just use a light hand and you will be able to create some gorgeous looks!

I suffer from pin-straight, stubby little lashes and I find that the Roller Lash keeps my curl in all day and night. I don't have an issue with layering this mascara- it does dry quickly but I prefer that sort of formula. I also really like the brush because it's very precise and keeps my lashes nice and separated.

Full disclosure- I don't typically use dry shampoo as a replacement for a wash so I cannot speak to the oil-absorbing quality of this product. I do use this before blow drying (yes on my clean, damp hair!) to add texture and body, and then I use it as a style refresher and volumizer. That being said, this dry shampoo is bomb. Everything R&Co puts out smells aaaaahmazing, and the Death Valley is no exception. I love how there is absolutely no powdery mess or feel, and just a little shot of this stuff to my roots gives me serious vavoom. My favorite dry shampoo for sure!

Super Unique

This primer is really unlike anything I've ever used. The consistency reminds me of the Becca First Light primer- it's very light and spreadable and feels hydrating. I was kind of shocked the first time I used it because you can really see a red/blue iridescent shift and I was quite nervous to put that on my face. I use my damp Beauty Blender to press this primer into my skin and it gives my face such a pearly glow and blurred effect like I'm a walking snapchat filter. I've also been adding a tiny amount to my foundation to give an extra little glowing boost and I'm really happy with how that looks. I think the amount of product you receive in the bottle is also quite generous so this has really become my new go-to!

Amazing Staying Power!

I used to strictly use the no color powder which is also pretty great, but I recently purchased this one because my winter face was looking kind of pale and sad and I find that this very slightly tinted powder prevented the paleness I was seeing with the no color version. For the price, you cannot beat this super finely milled powder. I use it to bake my concealer and it truly keeps everything in place all day and night long. My only complaint would be that the sifter cap pours a little too much product out at once if you aren't careful (I'm not), but I've started using a large lidded container to hold my baking powder so it's no longer an issue for me. You really can't go wrong giving this a try!

The Accessory I Didn't Know I Needed

This is the cutest, handiest little mirror! She's roughly the size and shape of my cell phone and is always right there in my bag when I need a lip color touch up or to check my teeth or something. It does have a little kickstand, but the real knockout for me is the retractable ring holder, which makes holding it close to your face while applying mascara and holding the tube a breeze. My only complaint is that it wobbles a teeny bit when you use the ring holder although this has never affected my makeup application.

The lights on this baby are shockingly bright but adjustable, so you can really see every single nook and cranny on your face. The Cutie also comes with a little microfiber case to protect the surface and keep her clean. All in all, I'm super happy with this little mirror!

The Perfect Oil

I'm kind of obsessed with Juno! My skin is very sensitive to essential oils and I was incredibly upset to discover that I absolutely cannot use some of the luxury products I finally was able to get my hands on. This oil is such a great substitute! It feels quite heavy to apply but it absorbs quickly without leaving that sticky film. The scent a little strange but I quite like it, and it fades fast. There are no essential oils (which is not a bad thing in itself- my skin just breaks out if I use them on my face) but there are some active botanicals which I think really work to make my skin look super healthy and bright. I use this with my morning skin routine and I find that my face stays nice and hydrated all day. Since using Juno, I've also found that my skin is much less dull and seems more plump. The bottle also looks really cute on my vanity. This will stay in my skin regimen for a long time for sure!

Fades Discoloration and Smooths

My first impression of this serum was that the consistency and fresh scent were so amazing but I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as far as actual results. I was delighted to find that this serum really works wonders on my skin. I've noticed that my pores look tighter, some acne scarring has faded, and I've experienced less breakouts. My skin overall just looks really nice! The price seems high, however you only need a tiny amount and the bottle lasts quite a long time.

Actually Magic

I received this as a sample with one of my orders and was really skeptical to try this because I have never gotten good results with other shampoos that claim to add texture. The directions say to skip the conditioner for the full effect, but my hair is really dry so I conditioned my hair first, then lathered up with this.

First of all, the fragrance (like all R&CO products) is absolutely amazing. My hair is really fine and needs that second day dirt to actually hold any style, but can often look limp and flat on the actual second/third day. I have to say that this shampoo really nails that feeling. It made my hair feel really "grippy" and look so voluminous and salon perfect immediately after drying. The second day was even better. Definitely a winner for me and I have since bought a larger bottle!

Do It All

I used to suffer from severe brow problems. I have brow hairs but they are just really light and patchy, so I used to fill them in with a pencil, then darken them up a little with a powder, then use a gel to set them in place. This took wayyy too long, especially because brows are the one thing I absolutely need done on my face before going out in public!

I love this brow gel because it really has replaced all my previous steps. The fibers thicken the little hairs I have, the tint darkens them and fills in any patchiness, and the gel sets everything in place. The teeny spoolie is really good at applying the product really precisely, so my brows end up looking super natural. This stuff doesn't move or flake away either. Will definitely continue to purchase!
