Cactus Texturizing Shampoo

I received the cactus shampoo as a sample and oh my god the volume it delivers is unbelievable, i have a very fine thin hair and I was so happy with the result, the only down side that it tangles my hair during washing, it kind of decreases after each wash though.

I received this as a sample with one of my orders. I was excited to try it as I have fine, straight hair cut in a bob that needs something to give it volume and body. I followed the directions and skipped the conditioner, and then dried and styled as normal. My hair looks fabulous. I didn't use any extra products and I look like I came from the salon.

Why did a rate this a 4 instead of a 5? Normally when I skip conditioner, I struggle a bit to comb through my hair at first, but then it is fine. With this shampoo, I felt like I was tugging and pulling out hair throughout my drying and styling routine. As a more mature person, I worry about losing hair, and I am concerned about incorporating a product that could cause me to pull out hair in addition to what I am losing naturally on a daily basis. I can see using this as a great special occasion treat when I want to look extra fantastic, but not for daily use.

A shampoo that not only cleans But leaves my fine hair full of volume, I will admit I was skeptical to try at first but so glad I did, for the first time I got beautiful results without extra steps of other products. This is now the only shampoo I will ever use, thank you beautylish for making me a fan for life!

The directions say to skip the conditioner for the full effect, but my hair is really dry so I conditioned my hair first, then lathered up with this.

First of all, the fragrance (like all R&CO products) is absolutely amazing. My hair is really fine and needs that second day dirt to actually hold any style, but can often look limp and flat on the actual second/third day. I have to say that this shampoo really nails that feeling. It made my hair feel really "grippy" and look so voluminous and salon perfect immediately after drying. The second day was even better. Definitely a winner for me and I have since bought a larger bottle!

I have flat, baby fine hair, and it really needs a little “grit” to look alive. Infrequent washings only leave it looking flater, and greasy, so I needed some faux-dirt. This shampoo is MAGIC. I first bought it when my hair was super short, and it gave it body & volume like WHOA. It looked salon-fresh, every single day, without any sort of styling beyond a light dusting of volumizing dry shampoo in the a.m. My hair’s in that shoulder-length, awkward stage now, so the volume/movement factor is toned down, but using this shampoo every other day still helps give my hair a little life, and makes it easy to style, if I need to. It’s also a very thick formula, and I only need a dime-sized dollop to create tons of lather. Way better than other brands’ versions, this is the real deal.

I have straight hair with a bob haircut that hits mid-cheek and have bleached blonde hair - I’ve struggled with air drying. It gets so frizzy! And I don’t want to damage it more with blow drying or hot tools. So I decided to try this shampoo on my straight hair hoping I would get some texture for that done but undone look. And this did it! I love it! The texture is great. It looks like second day hair when it dries and looks even better the next day. I love it. I follow the directions and don’t condition it after washing. So for conditioning I use the pre wash conditioner foam. I put it in my hair and leave it for a couple of hours as a mask then use this shampoo and voila! Tres chic! My hair looks and feels great. I also only wash my hair 2-3 times a week and my hair and scalp don’t feel gross or dirty. I will definitely repurchase.
