Beauty Product Reviews
Perfection!
I adore this brush! Sonia has done it again. I love it for bronzer and all over face powder. It’s wonderfully soft, but perfectly dense to allow it to be a workhorse!!
Perfection!!!
I didn’t bother to review this brush initially because I assumed that everyone knows that Sonia’s brushes are amazing!!! She never misses! I have most of her brushes, and I love them all. It’s amazing how this brush can have just enough density to be a perfect multi-tasker (blush, contour, or highlight). Yet, still be soft enough to perfectly set the powder under my eyes!??? I don’t know how she does it!!! I have many, many high end brushes, including Suqqu, Surratt, Chikuhodo, Hakuhodo, & Wayne’s, just to name a few. I try my best to regularly rotate them, which keeps them in tip top shape. However, Sonia’s brushes have remained in my daily rotation since her first launch. I was traveling and missed the first launch of the Sky Face Set. Whenever it restocks, I will definitely be first in the preorder line!!! If you haven’t tried any of Sonia G’s brushes, you really are missing out on something quite special. Thank you Beautylish for your matchless customer service!
Definitely Holy Grail Status!
I’m so happy that Beautylish sent me a sample of this item. I absolutely love it! I had been using Clinique’s Take It Off Cleansing Balm, which I still enjoy. However, it has been demoted to my backup prewash spot. Green Clean has taken the number 1 spot. It is so light. It does an amazing job of taking off my makeup without irritating my sensitive eyes. It also rinses clean. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!!!
Great Brush!
I am a huge fan of Rae Morris' Magnetic Range. It took an enormous amount of willpower for me to avoid purchasing the entire range in one fail swoop. Rae has so many unique brush shapes in this line. I initially wanted the brushes primarily for the novelty of the magnets. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the brushes function wonderfully!
I never expected this brush to work with my extremely pigmented blushers, but it did...perfectly. I use this brush for blush and spot powdering. I took off 1 star, because of the overall quality. I used this brush for about 2 weeks. After 1 wash, the hairs don't lay as smoothly after drying, in comparison to my Chikuhodo or Hakuhodo brushes.
I do recommend washing these brushes carefully and soon after purchasing, because I have experienced some quality inconsistencies in this line. So, you want to make sure you have a good one. However, I still think that they are great brushes and fairly priced!
I can't imagine anyone who is a lover of makeup and makeup brushes not loving to use Rae Morris' brushes. So far, I only own: #27, #21, #22, #23, #6, the Radiance Brush Holder, and the Rae Plate. I definitely plan to add to my collection!
Multi-Purpose Z Series Brush
Chikuhodo is absolutely one of the leading brands of Japanese brushes. I love using this brush for bronzer. Also, the Z8 is great for light/medium contouring, due to the way the hairs form a flat edge on top. This was the first brush from the Z Series that I purchased. I love it, and they only get better!!!!
Wow...
I love this brush!!! I purchased the White Holiday Brush last year. Although I appreciated the quality and versatility of the brush, after a few days, I rarely used it. I am a Wayne Goss fan. I own #13, #14, and #15 from his face set, and they're all often used in my daily routine.
I received the now permanent edition 00 of the Holiday Brush in Black about 1 week ago. I literally have to force myself to use my other powder brushes. I LOVE using this for bronzer, but I used it for blush and highlight!!!! This brush feels slightly softer, less dense, and less pointy. Perfection!!! Wayne did it again.
I can't fail to mention the fabulous Beautylish customer service. It is so awesome to know that I only have to wait 2 days for any order to arrive. Thanks Beautylish!!!!!
