One Product to Bigger Lips

Easily the best lip-liner product i have ever used. It ticks every single box in my check list -

(1) It’s the perfect pinky-muted nude that doesn’t wash out my lip colour, but enhances it

(2) it has the ability to make the lips fuller, more plump looking and even in tone

(3) it doesn’t drag across the lips and it not drying

(4) it does not budge and stay put, locking what ever lipstick you have on top in place

(5) it works well on its on as well as paired with a lipstick

(6) it has a creamy texture

(7) it has completely converted me into a lip-liner fanatic and i am now eager to get my hands on other shades in the range

Not for Dry Skin

The only let down i had with this foundation is that it accentuated the dry patches in my skin. The foundation claims to illuminate, smooth, hydrate, minimise pores and reduces wrinkles but i don’t think this is a very accurate claim. It definitely didn’t hydrate my skin or minimise pores. I think due to its super runny and some-what oily formula, it automatically clung to any dryness in my skin. Even when i moisturised really well, it didn’t take long for the foundation to sink and highlight any flaky-ness i had.

you have to shake up the product quite well to make sure that it hasn’t separated and isn’t too watery. It has a light coverage, which i do like and feels light on the skin, which is also really good.

But i was just expecting a lot more, especially from charlotte tilbury.

My Skin but Better

i was a little anxious about purchasing this foundation online as there wasn’t a lot of choice in the shade range, but thankfully, the shade 012 works really well with my skin-tone.

Firstly the packaging of this is really weighty and the glass-bottle design is quite chic. It’s definitely not one to travel with due to its size and weight, but it does look lovely on your dressing table and is a pleasure to use.

The foundation itself is super lightweight, yet delivers a medium coverage on first application. I researched the ingredients in this before purchasing it and found it to contain jojoba seed oil, olive squalane and shea butter which i think all attribute to its smooth and runny consistency. it is also free of mineral oil which is a plus.

1 pump of the foundation managed to cover the majority of my uneven skin-tone, redness and little blemishes. But i still had some freckles and larger acne scars peeking through.

What i love most about this product is that it doesn’t ever look cakey. Ive used it for consistently for over a month now since i bought it and no matter how much i pile on (there are days when layer of foundation are required ok) it doesn’t ever look cakey or heavy or unnatural. It still manages to look like skin while softening and smoothing out uneven skin texture and pores.

The finish is dewy, so i suggest a powder if you have oily skin.

Contour for Killer Cheek bones

First of all, the packaging of this product is extremely luxurious. Its Rose-Gold plated and weighty making it look and feel like an expensive product, which it is!

Secondly, the bronzer and highlighter product itself perfectly complement each other and look so nice together on the cheek. The bronze and highlighter colour do not clash with one another but blend and work together harmoniously so you are left with a really lovely ‘glowy’ and radiant complexion.

The bronze shade is a very flattering colour that can work on many skin-tones, I’m quite pale and am able to use it as a contour or all over bronzer to add warmth to my face, yet I’ve been able to use this on friends and family or are a lot darker than me, and it has managed to work just as well on them too.

The highlight shade is a stunning golden colour that is not too subtle, yet not unnatural or overly offensive either.

The texture of the product is also a standout; really finely milled, really easy to blend, and not chalky at all.

Lastly, you get quite a bit of product for your money, so this is a good one to invest in.
