Light Wonder

I couldn’t find this foundation anywhere forever. I’m going into the hospital to have my c-section on March 6th and wanted a foundation that would last. This with wonder glow primer and an hourglass powder lasts 12 hours…. Love it!!!

I use a sponge to apply this. It is a little build able, it is skin like, no make up look, but when you wash it off after a long day, you see that you had more on then you thought :-/. Your own skin is not as good as this. Lol :-/. I don’t understand the bad review, it is really nice, little goes a long way.

I am total makeup geek and I am constantly trying new foundations. I completely underestimated this foundation and was very pleasantly surprised! The name is a little misleading because it actually provides a solid medium coverage (covers my redness and hyperpigmentation spots). You can build this up to full coverage (this wont look like a mask) where needed and it blends out like a dream, you will need under eye concealer bc it doesn't cover undereye darkness. I have tried applying this a few different ways and a foundation brush is the way to go. I am not a fan of using a Beauty Blenders or sponge with this foundation because it absorbs to much of the product and completely sheer it out and does lay down pigment. This has a beautiful radiant finish. I have normal to oily skin and have no issues with this foundation making me look like a disco ball, but I do set my T-zone with a dusting of powder/ finishing powder. it looks like I have perfect skin and drank all my water. The foundation has very thin consistency. Overall this foundation reminds me of Nars Sheer Glow, with a little more coverage and luminosity. This Photographs really well too! Wear time: solid 7 hours, does break down around mouth and nose if not set. I love mixing this foundation with other matte foundation. Color match was PERFECT for my NC 42, Nars Valencia, Estee lauder Double Wear 4N1 skin.

I love this foundation it’s beautiful. It is light coverage which I like because I tend to hate thick foundations .. this one is so light and my skin can breath but it still covers . It’s nice on my normal dry skin too. This is one of my holy grail foundations. I tend to be very picky with foundations and always hate them. So I was surprised at myself for not feeling this way. So def a keeper for me! I paired it with the hollyood filter also and I love using them together as well. Holywood filter under and this on top looks beautiful and glamorous.

I like that this foundation has the thing that I’ve been looking for, glow. So, I guess I found the perfect foundation formula for me. Light and glowing. However, if you like full coverage, I don’t think this is for you. This is good for everyday use as it very light and has the tinted moisturizer effect.

I purchased the Light Wonder foundation looking for something with a lighter amount of coverage for the summer months. Most of the other foundation I own is medium to full coverage, and just felt too heavy for hot and muggy city days.

I have to say, Light Wonder is exactly what I was looking for, and more. While the foundation always feels light on the skin, the coverage is buildable and I do feel like you can build it up to medium coverage. I use it with a damp sponge, or with my fingers if I am rushing out the door. It is super easy to apply either way.

For color matching, I am very fair with cool undertones and the 02 Fair shade was a perfect match for me. I highly recommend this foundation and know it will see me through summer and beyond.

Now I have dry skin, and I really love this. However this is a short step up from glossier skin tint, which is what I wanted. If you want coverage, you will not like this. I will say I feel like this wears well and feels like nothing is on your skin. It evens my tone and tones out the redness in my cheeks. It doesn’t accentuate my dry patches.

I have combination skin, between light/medium tone and neutral undertone colour. I love the natural/dewy finish make-up instead of heavy/matte looking face, so I’m very picky/fussy when choosing my foundations. I’ve tried many brands over time and it took a few years to discover my all-time favs now. So I decided to try Light Wonder and adventure myself in choosing my colour online and hope for the best. I rarely post reviews... So I am pleased to say that this one exceeded my expectations :)))) I’m impressed with the natural finish, so smooth and best of all... around midday I don’t need to do a big or any touch-up which is fantastic! Also, I love it for an every day wear, I work in a busy office and I look like a mill!! :D Medium 5 colour is perfect on me, and I even dared to mix this with a bit of the Wonder Glow. I’m really happy with my purchase and totally recommend this product to someone that might still be thinking on trying it. Charlotte Tilbury, thanks so much for creating your make-up brand... you’ve made many women sooooo happy!!!!

This is the most beautiful product ever. You need very little and covered my whole face. The shade I picked was a perfect match. I will repurchase this product. Well worth the money.

I really enjoy this foundation. It provided a nice amount of coverage without looking or feeling heavy. I tried applying this both with my fingers and a beauty blender. I found a damp beauty blender worked better at distributing the product nicely. With my fingers, it felt like the foundation was drying down faster than I could blend it.

This is what the company claims about this product: 1. Enhance your skin with a tinted veil of color that evens out imperfections and imparts a natural-looking luminosity I found this to be true. It provided medium to light coverage (enough to cover sun spots) without looking or feeling heavy. I wore this over Thanksgiving and no one could pin point what exactly I was wearing (most thought I had just washed my face because it looked clean and radiant).

2. Experience fewer wrinkles, more even tone, and smoother, plumper skin, thanks to youth-boosting actives that get to work instantly I haven't had this long enough to confirm, but there are a few nice skin care ingredients in this.

3. Create a smooth, perfect base for makeup as psuedo-ceramides and botanicals kickstart collagen production and drench the skin with moisture I did feel like my skin looked and felt moisturized when I used this foundation. I was happy with how comfortable it felt.

Overall I am very happy with this. I was unsure how I felt until I began asking the women in my family what makeup they thought I had on. Everyone's last guess was always "...um...idk, foundation?". That made me feel great!
