Beauty Product Reviews
New favorite eye treatment
I LOVE this eye serum. It has a unique consistency. When I apply with the dropper, it feels slippery and oil-like. However, when I tap it into my upper and lower eye area, it transforms into a very lightweight non-sticky serum. I also pair this with an eye cream from a new brand called Plantioxidants (highly recommend). The eye cream works to seal this treatment into my skin, and the combination is heavenly. I was experiencing a lot of dryness and creasing under my eyes when I'd apply concealer, and that's no longer a problem!
Super hydrating
This is easily the best hyaluronic acid treatment I've used! The consistency is perfect, and my skin soaks this product up. Far superior to other brands.
Like it!
I have no idea if this is delivering any results, but I do like the consistency and scent. Since this is an anti-oxidant rich treatment, I have no idea if this is repairing/preventing UVA/UVB damage, but I'll definitely continue to use. The color is brown-toned, but when you pat it into the skin it's totally fine. I pair this with other NIOD treatments, and my skin has been looking great overall!
Favorite new cleanser
To anyone who read the review that says this smells bad– they're crazy! This smells almost cocoa-buttery. I absolutely love the subtle scent.
It has a creamy consistency and glides over wet or dry skin well. I love massaging this into my skin and leaving it on for a few minutes. The tube says to only apply in AM or PM every other day, which I don't understand. I'm not sure what ingredients are too harsh for 2x daily use, but I'm treading with caution.
Great blurring effect, doubtful on other claims
Pros: blurring, pore-filling, "locks in" moisture Cons: terrible packaging, full of silicone, looks bad under makeup
I'm still trying to figure out how to incorporate this product into my routine. I've used it in my night routine after my treatments and serums, and I noticed how nice it made my skin texture look. The product isn't hydrating on its own, so I paired with hyaluronic acid underneath and a gel-texture sleeping mask on top.
I feel like the main benefits of this product are the blurring/perfecting effect it gives, but it looks awful under makeup. I had to remove all of my makeup the first time I tried. It balls up and makes foundation look uneven.
You may like this if: - You don't wear foundation and want a blurring effect during the day - You don't care about covering your skin in potentially toxic silicone - You want to seal in your serums overnight
