Beauty Product Reviews
YOU NEED IT.
If you want the most perfect "I woke up like this" look, this is it. be warned- It is not full coverage, it is not going to hide major imperfections or discoloration. It is medium at best. It has the most beautiful finish, not matte, not radiant. it feels like NOTHING on the skin. It does not sink in to my fine lines or pores. definitely THE holy grail of foundation. no primer needed. no powder needed. I have an oily t-zone, and I did have to touch up with a blotting powder after 5-6 hours, but the miracle is that there was 0 separation or breaking down of the foundation, even though my oil was showing.- will be repurchasing immediately.
love
This gloss is really nice. It looks like a plumper almost. IT doesnt feel slimy or sticky. Works great. The color is beautiful too!
NATURAL, SKIN LIKE FINISH.
Gorgeous finish. This has coverage, it doesn't look dry or cakey or too dewy. It's perfection in a bottle. I use this for concealer and contouring. Its great with the Magic Star setting powder as well for a super airbrushed finish!
THE BEST SETTING POWDER EVER
This is the best setting powder ever. You will have doll, perfection skin. Its so finely milled. Smells like cake. This gives you a super airbrushed like finish. I cant say enough good things.
RAINBOW HEAVEN
This bundle is everything.... I love the neon colors in here. Every one blends great and plays well with each other. The bottom right dark navy color is a bit patchy. The shimmers are a bit loose feeling but work wonderfully.
The best foundation out there
I’ve struggled for years to find a perfect foundation! I used to use Estée Lauder double wear and found that it would leave my face cakey and separate when my oils would start coming through later in the day. The La Mer is my holy grail and yes- it has a holy grail price tag. This makes my skin look so perfect without looking like I have on foundation. It has a natural finish and lasts 12 hours throughout my workday amazingly. It has the most beautiful skin-like finish unlike any other foundation out there. It has a distinctive smell that dissipates after application. It goes on and blends like a dream. I have oily skin in my T zone and even as the oils start to come through after 6-8 hours it doesn’t break the foundation down or leave any weird patches/ separation. I can easily apply some powder and be good to go for another 6-8 hours. I can’t say enough good things about this foundation!
Love, love, love!
Mannequin is my everyday go to nude. It’s perfection between the color and formula. Stays on almost all day and isn’t super drying.
The neutrals are decent, bright shades are terrible.
Let me start off by saying that I have the ND Star, Lila and Sunset palette. I love pinks and tans and this palette just spoke to me. I felt more inclined to try a pop of color than I ever have so I purchased it. The palette arrived and as soon as I opened it I was disappointed. The other palettes I have arrived in immaculate condition. This one arrived and was littered with shadow dust, it looked like little chips were missing from the pan and were dusted over the mirror and rims of the palette. I set aside this imperfection and was eager to use the shadows. I was immediately disappointed with the payoff from the greens and blues. It honestly looked cheap and not pigmented at all. I wiped the color off of my lid and tried the more neutral tans and pinks. They are of decent quality and did blend. However, they are definitely not of ND quality like I am used to. This palette is truly disappointing. I don’t think I will buy another ND palette until I see reviews that say the quality is back to normal.
BLINDING
If you are a fan of J* highlighters, this one is so gorgeous on medium & dark skin tones. My absolute favorite out of all of his shades. This highlighter is so metallic and wet looking, I live for it. It does not sit on the skin weird or look flakey or chalky like other brands do. Love Love Love this highlighter.
Very blinding.
This highlighter is a metallic wet looking dream. However, I have a medium skin tone and this is entirely to light for me personally. It looks chalky on the cheekbones. I don’t think this is a flaw with the product, I think it is just too icy for my warm tan skin. I used it as a brow bone and inner corner highlight and it turned out lovely. This is stunning on lighter skin tones! I would suggest going with princess cut for medium/dark skin tones as a cheek highlight, it has a warmer hint to it that is more flattering.
