Too dark, orange-y
I was getting a quick make-up session done in the car and I said I was unsure about the It Celebration Light compact.. My husband looked over and said, "I can see from here it's too dark for your skin."
Today, while applying make-up I took a close look while using this and he was right - pumpkin pie face! Or, it would have been if I used it more than a swipe..
Getting sent back..
Until the lighter version is available, I have to abstain. It does cover well and quickly.. I used it to contour a bit and was impressed with coverage and ease of attaining the coverage.
A great powder foundation!
I ordered this foundation because I was looking for a powder that didn’t cling to dry patches of skin and would have a decent level of coverage without looking too matte. This ticked all the boxes and I’m so pleased I took the risk (I ordered from the UK). This is great! It covers my redness without looking unnatural because of the slight glow it leaves. It’s not glittery or at all like a highlighter as I’ve seen some reviews say; it just doesn’t look totally flat and just looks like skin. You can layer it up if you want more coverage and it still isn’t massively obvious on the skin. This is a great option if you want natural looking but decent coverage. Thanks IT Cosmetics!
Also big thanks to Beautylish as this was my first order and it arrived quickly and so beautifully packaged! It made me feel really special. It won’t be my last! :)
I really like this foundation. I was looking for a new powder and watched the video by Stephanie Nicole. I've used it a few times, and like the feel of it on my skin. An issue I have, is that it's a little bit chalky and takes a bit longer to blend than I'd like. Before, I was using bare minerals original powder. Overall, I enjoy the satin finish it gives, and like the feel on my skin.
Wish I loved this more.
It Cosmetics really needs to expand their shade range. The fair really isn't light enough and there are no deeper shades. That being said, I have tried this several times and am left feeling baffled. Claims of radiant skin drew me to try this foundation out, but it feels so heavy on my skin. I find that it ages me. I've tried using natural-haired brushes, synthetic brushes, and even sponge applicators. I'm not heavy-handed with the product, but it still looks cake-y. Maybe this foundation is better suited to those with oily skin.
Literally 30 second to flawless!
My skin is pretty dry and problematic (I have acne scars and sometimes I get hormonal breakouts on my chin and dermatitis around my eyes), but I'm not a fan of liquid or cream foundation, so when my favourite pressed powder foundation was discontinued I found myself in a desperate search of a worthy substitute.
I sometimes use loose mineral foundation but I travel a lot and it can get a little messy... So I came across this IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination and decided to give it a try, even though I have never heard of this brand (I'm Italian and it is not distributed here).
The morning after the parcel arrived (GREAT GREAT GREAT PACKAGING YOU GUYS! <3 ) I was stunned with the results. I applied this foundation with a flat kabuki brush and the coverage was immediate, I didn't even use concealer because I applied it in some problematic areas with a small flat brush and I was ready with more than ten minutes to spare!
During the day this powder stayed where I put it and I couldn't be happier!
the powder which doesn't look like powder
This powder is the best for dry skin, it melts into skin in a blink and provide very decent coverage. When you are in a rush with your morning routine, you can just slap this powder on your face and bang you are done! I would recommend this powder to everyone with dry skin
