not my favorite
I did not like this brush. It is really rough and it does shed a bit. It's also not very densely packed..I just don't find it to be all that great. The only thing I use it for is to add some body powder to my arms/neck/chest. Definitely too scratchy to use on my face.
Love it!
I bought the essential line brush kit, and this was on it. These were my first brushes and I love most of them. This particular brush really works nicely to pack colors onto the lid and I've even been known to do my crease and blend with it all when I'm in a hurry. I will probably be purchasing some more of these to have!
meh
This does help my makeup last a bit better then if I dont use anything. But there are quite a few cons with this product:
*When I first apply this it has a very sticky feeling and it comes out in quite a thick spray..definitely not a mist.
*This stuff feels ok on my face once it finally dries, but later in the day if I start to sweat I can feel the stickiness come back, and it also makes my skin start to itch and it feels like Im wearing a mask.
I've used this on days where I'm not going to be very active. But for days when I work or am gonna be out in the hot sun, I will stick with my Urban Decay Finishing spray..
It does it's job, but I don't like the application or how it feels on my face.
not too bad
Ive tried both this primer and the E.L.F. Primer, both do a good job, but i find this one to be a bit less greasy feeling. When you have super oily skin to begin with, you'll definitely want the the less greasy of the two. On days where I'm not going to be out long, and I just want my makeup to last a bit better then without a primer, I used the ELF, but when I want all day last--I turn to by Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer. It's the best I've found for my money.
not too bad
I got this in Sphynx and Delinquent. I must say, I like the Sphynx better, not necessarily for its color, but it's consistency. When I tried to use delinquent it was chunky and pasty, not a smooth creamy consistency like sphynx is. I suppose I could have gotten a bad batch, I'm not sure. But I love Sphynx, I've used it a couple of times and it is smooth and creamy and lasted all day and I received a lot of compliments with it.
awesome
I got a sample of this in Sin. It's actually quite beautiful. I've never used many highlights in the past so I wasn't sure how this was gonna go...haha. But it's silky smooth and leaves a beautiful glow on my face along my cheekbones. Not sure if I'm gonna repurchase..but it definitely is beautiful!
Best drugstore foundation I've found
This is definitely the best foundation I've found as far as coverage and staying power. It does seem a bit heavy when you first apply it. And you have to work fast because it dries rather quickly and it will look a bit blotchy. I'm gonna try applying it with a wet sponge and see if that helps at all. I do think it's the best I've found from the drugstore however, and it definitely helps to control oil and shine throughout the day, I only have to powder once or twice to keep my oil in check.
love it!
I love this little thing! I bought it mainly for the contour color. I've never really tried contouring my face and I wanted to give it a try. But, I must say--the blush in this is the most beautiful blush I've ever owned. It's a beautiful golden pink that compliments my skin tone perfectly! I'm actually not as big of a fan of the contour color, it looks a little *muddy* on my skin tone, but I can make it work if I take my time with it. Still worth the money just for the beautiful blush!
a nice palette to have
OK, so I rarely go for a neutral look. But when I do, this is my *go to* palette. The colors are velvety smooth and blend beautifully. You can do a nice neutral look, or a beautiful dark smokey eye with this palette. It's a must have because everyone should have some neutrals in their collection. And at only 10-12 bucks, you can't go wrong with this palette. Also that beautiful light pink, they need to release that by itself, I ADORE it!
it works
I bought this because I had never used a primer before. I have since purchased the legendary Urban Decay Primer Potion. But this little guy still has a place in my arsenal. It doesn't work QUITE as well as the UDPP, but it gets the job done. I do notice faster creasing with this then I do with the PP, I think it's because this formula is a bit greasier then UDPP and I have oily skin anyway. But, I use this on days where I'm just running errands but want my make up to last at least part of the day. I save my UDPP for days when I work, or I'm going out for the whole day. I will repurchase though, because that means my UDPP will last longer too cause I don't use it EVERY day!
