Wearable Color

A lot of people are nervous when it comes to wearing color on their lips. This is a good product for these people! However, I think if you're a big makeup junkie, I think you'll like the color Creme Brulee. It's nude without being too over the top. Plus, it really is moisturizing like they claim it is! Feels like a balm, which is nice when it's so hot outside. Does it last long on your lips? No, but that's to be expected with a balmy/sheer product. I'd still recommend it to just about everyone, though!

Lives up to the hype.

I wasn't sure why everyone was so obsessed with this until I got it. $50 for a bunch of neutral eye shadows? Whats so special about it? Why did I need this? But this palette is really a gem. When I'm in a hurry, it's really nice to pull out the box, because I've got great neutrals, a brush, and primer in one place. The colors are very pigmented & blendable. My favorite shadows are sidecar, half baked, and toasted, they're amazing. I'm not thrilled with creep; it's not bad, I just have better black shadows. Overall, worth the price and lives up to all the hype, I'm thrilled with it.

my current favorite foundation

I went to the Estee Lauder counter to get the original Double Wear foundation, but the girl at the counter told me she didn't think I needed the very full coverage the makeup gives. She recommended the double wear light, which is a sheer-medium foundation (I don't think it's sheer coverage at all though) with a natural finish that lasts for up to 15 hours. So I let her put this foundation on me, and even though I didn't love that I could still see some of my acne scars, I still bought it. Now, I've tried a lot of foundations- drugstore, high end, light coverage, matte finish, full coverage, dewy finish- and this is my *favorite* so far. It's really grown on me and has been great for the summer. It looks great in photos, feels so lightweight that I forget I have it on, and looks great for about 8-10 hours (even in 100 degree, horribly humid weather). I have to wear something more full coverage on bad skin days, so I would still like to get the regular double wear, but for everyday, this is expensive :( and excellent. The color selection of this foundation is pretty poor right now- there are only six shades. This foundation dries fast, but not as fast as Revlon's colorstay. It blends better than it, too. I've tried applying this with my hands, a sponge, a stippling brush, and a normal foundation brush, and the best way to apply it (especially if you want the most coverage you can get with this) is with a foundation brush.

I adore this highlighter. It gives you an amazing glow on your cheeks and is pretty as a brow highlight too. The big bottle of this will last you forever (I've had this for 2 years and its about half full), so if you don't think you will use this much, I would get the travel size.

Love!

While I usually prefer black, blue, and gunmetal shades, I love this pink polish. Its a shiny hot pink that is really fun and cute. It lasts well on my nails and doesn't take a ridiculous amount of coats to get the color that is in the bottle.

Buy the clear, stay away from others.

I use the clear mascara on my brows, and sometimes on my lashes for just a little extra something when I don't have much (or any) makeup on. Its not amazing, but its okay. The other mascaras are TERRIBLE, though. I have no idea why this mascara sells so well, because its clumpy, does nothing for my lashes, and is on my cheeks after 2 hours.

Great colors

I bought the 15th anniversary set when it came out, and I fell in love with these. The colors are very pigmented, and they last longer on me than any others have. "Perversion" is the best black eyeliner I've ever had, but I wear "baked" the most. I hope UD comes out with more colors... in particular a good, bright red!

Affordable, Gorgeous Colors.

"Vitamin" has become my lipstick of choice. It's pigmented, affordable, and tastes great :P This is the only one I have tried, but I plan on getting more because I liked this one so much.

Great on bad skin days!

This foundation is a good product for those looking for an affordable, medium/full coverage foundation. It covers very well and lasts for a long time (not 16 hours but maybe 8-9 hours). This product doesn't make me breakout, but it doesn't look great over any dry zits (I usually put on a product like "moisture surge" from clinique, followed by monostat anti chaffing gel on those evil little monsters). I don't have a problem with the smell. In fact, I kind of like it! The problem I have with the formula is that it dries too fast and can look cakey very, very, very easily. The only application method that has worked for me is a damp sponge. I also wish the foudation came in a squeeze tube (which would be much better for travel) or at least came with a pump! Overall, this is a great foundation for my bad skin days, but I don't like this product as much as I used to. Its too matte for summer (and doesnt have much spf) and the color selections leave much to be desired.

Horrid!

I decided to try this on a whim because I wanted to try a green and a yellow concealer...and I really wish I hadn't wasted my money. The concealers are greasy and have poor pigmentation. They didn't last long on my face, and made me break out. The packaging is cheap and the brush is useless. Stick with hard candy's "glamoflauge" concealer, its much better!
